A/N: PART 3 COMIN YOUR WAY GUYS! Enjoy! <3

**Ben's POV**

"I'm sure that'll be fun," Bianca smiled and Brandon nodded in agreement.

"Well, am I the only one that's hungry?" I questioned everyone.

"Where's the bag?" Onyx asked me.

"It's under the bench. I'll grab it," I said and got up from where I was sitting. I walked over to the bench and got the bag. I brought it back over by everyone and zipped it open. I pulled out two handfuls of candy and placed it in the middle of all of us.

"That's all you guys have?" Brandon asked.

"Well, we have money, more candy, and I still have a few granola bars and Cliff bars," Onyx answered Brandon.

"Well, let's eat," Bianca smiled and grabbed a mini Hershey's bar. We all started munching on the candy until it was gone. Onyx didn't seem to be hungry, she ate 2 mini Milky Ways and then she was done eating. I gave her a look as if to say "are you okay?" and she gave me a small smile in response. I didn't believe her, but I didn't want to ask her. I would wait until later tonight.

**Later that night**

It was a warm night and Onyx had decided to roll out her sleeping bag. She laid out her blanket next to the sleeping bag and curled up there. After hours of looking up at the stars, I heard someone moving around. I looked over and saw that Brandon and Bianca were asleep, then I looked over to Onyx. She had left. I sat up, looking around for her. I saw a glowing light coming from the willow tree. I got up and, as silently as possible, walked over to the willow tree. I glanced through the leaves of the willow tree.

I saw Onyx standing there, trying to do something with her gem. I watched her for a while, until I thought she saw me. She stared at the leaves for a moment, then turned back. It looked like she was trying to summon something from her gem. When she wasn't paying attention, I quickly and quietly slipped in between the leaves and entered the empty space between the leaves and trunk.

"Hey, Onyx," I said quietly. Before I knew it, Onyx was holding a black bladed katana with a silver handle, the blade barely touching my nose.

"What do you want?" She asked me, sounding angry. I was a bit confused, seeing how I don't remember ever doing anything to her. Then I saw that her eyes were black.

"Onyx?" I asked quietly. She gave me a smirk and pulled the katana away from me.

"You know, I wish that I could remember you. But I just can't," Onyx said quietly. This was not Onyx.

"What'd you do with Onyx?" I asked the pretend Onyx.

**Onyx's POV**

I was tied up and put on the opposite side of the trunk from Ben and the fake Onyx. I tried to scream, but it was hard to when there was a magic rope tied around your neck that got tighter and tighter with every little noise you made. I started to cry, I couldn't do anything. My feet were tied together, my hands tied together, and if I dared make a noise, the rope around my neck would get tighter. Tears streamed down my cheeks.

"I'm right here. I'm Onyx," I heard the fake Onyx tell Ben.

"You're not Onyx. Onyx w-wouldn't forget me," I heard Ben say, his voice faltering at the end. Did he really believe his last statement? Or did he think that I could forget about him? I decided I had to try and show him where I was. I was tied to the tree by a rope and hooks. The hooks were in the tree and the rope was tied to the hooks. I had to try and get him to know I was okay, there had to be a way.

"Ben," I whispered, feeling the rope get a bit tighter.

I gulped and repeated myself, a little louder this time, "Ben." Then, I remembered that I was immortal, I couldn't die unless my gem was broken. I would only retreat back to my gem.

"BEN!" I screamed and the rope tightened so much to where I could hardly breathe.

"Onyx?" I heard Ben say.

"OTHER S-SIDE Of the tree," I gasped out in my final breaths before I retreated to my gem. Then, I felt myself turn into air. I was sucked into my gem.

**Ben's POV**

"Onyx?" I called out again, keeping my eyes on the fake Onyx.

"That's not the real Onyx. I am the real Onyx," the fake Onyx stated. I pulled out a knife that I had stored in my pocket.

"Let me see her," I told the fake Onyx.

"To see her, you'll have to go through me," Fake Onyx smirked. She came at me with her katana, and I went at her with my knife. I dodged and attacked and dodged and attacked for an hour, until I finally managed a hit in her stomach. My knife went through her, then she disappeared.

I walked around to the other side of the tree, but didn't see Onyx. I saw a smooth, shiny black gem that looked like an onyx. I remember seeing Onyx's gem, but I wasn't sure how it was here and she wasn't. That gem looked like it was gonna stay there forever. I picked up the gem and placed my knife back in my pocket. I kissed the gem in my hands.

"Onyx, I hope you know that I love you," I whispered to the gem. I headed back to where Bianca and Brandon were sleeping. I didn't notice until now that the sun was up. Brandon and Bianca were sitting there, stretching and yawning.

"Hey Ben," Bianca greeted me. Then she looked around. "Where's Onyx?"

"Uh," I paused for a moment and showed them her gem. "I don't know exactly where she's at, but I found her gem. Last night, I noticed that she was over there at the willow tree. I got up to see what she was doing. I was going to ask her something, then I noticed it wasn't her. It was a fake Onyx. She had black eyes, but the rest of the features were her's. I think I killed the fake Onyx, but I'm not sure. I don't know if it died or what. But after I did, it just disappeared, no body or anything. Onyx had been calling me from the other side of the tree when I was fighting the fake Onyx and when I went over there after the fight...all that was left there was this and some rope."

"So, you mean to tell me that she's no where to be found and all you can find is the gem that seemed to be permanently attached to her?" Brandon questioned me.

"I honestly have no idea how it happened," I told them, shrugging my shoulders. Just then, I heard Unicorn trotting up to us. I turned around to face her, Onyx's gem in my hands behind my back.

"Good morning Ben, Brandon, Bianca," Unicorn whinnied.

"G-Good morning, Unicorn," I smiled nervously.

"Is something wrong? Where's Onyx?" Unicorn asked me, sounding concerned. I revealed my hands to Unicorn.

"I don't really know what happened. One moment, I'm fighting a fake Onyx with real Onyx tied to a tree, the next it's just her gem there," I informed Unicorn.

"Oh thank god. I thought she was dead," Unicorn sighed.

"Wait, she's not dead?" Bianca questioned.

"No, gems can't die. Onyx and any other gems are immortal. Onyx only retreated to her gem. I'm glad you grabbed her gem before anything bad happened to it," Unicorn smiled.

"So, will Onyx return soon?" I asked Unicorn.

"It's hard to tell. She may return tomorrow, today, next week, next month," Unicorn informed me.
