When opposites attract

Still just friends

Matt PoV

"So can I help this time?" Mal, always wanting to do what she shouldn't, "it's a car theft: take car, change number plate and then take to the buyer, simple" she smiles at me and grabs my hand "so that means I can help?" What's the harm in it "sure, just be careful, I really don't want anything bad to happen to you". I continue driving with one hand while Mal holds the other one.

"There it is" I point to I red sports car that's parked just outside the most expensive suit shop in this city. "Ok, it's really pretty, what's the plan?" I turn around and grab the lock pick "so, I'm gonna slip over there and open it, then you get in the other side and we drive off like it's ours" she nods and I get out of the car.
I casually walk over and slot the pick in to the lock and start working. When I started it used to take me an hour, and by then they would have come out and I would have had to stop and run; now it takes about 5 minutes, less if I'm lucky. After 4 mins the door clicks, I open it and get in. I watch Mal as she clumsily gets over to the car and gets in. I laugh as I start driving off, Mal looks at me "what's so funny?" I should have recorded it, " the way you tried to look innocent as you walked over and got in" she looks worried "sorry Matt" I take her hand "don't worry it was super funny".
We finally get to a safe place to change the number plate. We both get out and I get to work as she stands watching. "Matt, can I borrow one off your hoodies I sore in the back of the car please?" I look round at her and she's wearing one already, "Mal, what's the point of asking if you have already took and put it on?" I stand up after finishing and she hugs me, "to be polite" I hug her back and feel her face move against my chest, wait "did you just smell me?" She giggles and nods "you smell really nice", while giggling again she skips around and gets into the car.

On the way there she seems really quiet, like she's thinking.
"So what's with the girl?" Max says whilst counting the 10,000 pounds I just earned "she's just a friend" he gives me a look of interest "just a girl yeah?" I nod "yeah".

Mal PoV

God that was easy, I see why he does this, easy money fast.
He's talking to a man called Max, well that's what Matt said he was called anyway. Max is kind of attractive, not as much as Matt but more that's Lola's Danny. He has charcoal hair with emerald eyes and from what I can see, is in pretty good shape. He wearing tight jeans and a white vest and looks pretty good in it. Wait, OMG, what's is Matt doing!

Matt PoV

He really thinks this is funny. "Really, all my clothes are needed as they might be evidence against us" he laughs under his breath "yeah that's about right" I look down at the grey joggers "yeah ok then" (pic above ;} )

He hands me my money as I part £1,000 off and hand it too Mal. "You don't have to pay me, I only came so you weren't lonely" she try's to hand it back but I push her hand back towards her, "keep it" she slides it into her bag.

When we get back, no ones home so I just get some ice cream out of the freezer and a couple of spoons. I join Mal on the sofa and give her a spoon and she digs in, "I'm guessing you still love cookies and cream ice cream" she stops eating for a second bad nods "still my favourite" I'm still wondering what she was thinking about earlier ", Mal what were you thinking about in the car?" She makes a cute thinking face and then turns to me "I don't remember".

Hmm don't know if believe that.
