"Brooklyn honey your going to be late for your first day back!" My mom called.
I'm shocked she was even home. Normally she's at the hospital working shifts. Ignoring her comment I looked in the mirror one last time. I wore my my new black skinny jeans, a white frilly tank top and some white vans.
My hair hung in lose waves with a middle part. My makeup was light, complimenting my very tan skin. Applying one last coat of gloss I popped my lips and stuck the tube in my pocket. Picking my bag off the floor and putting it on one shoulder I ran down the stairs.
Walking into the kitchen, I saw my dad over by the coffee pot. Okay this was rare moment. Both of my parents were doctors and they were hardly home. I went over to the fridge and grabbed a water out of it.
"I made pancakes." My mom said.
"Running late. Sorry." I said while giving her and my dad a wave.
I grabbed my keys off the table by the front door and walked out. Hopping into my car, which I called Rex, I started it. Rex was a new car, a Nissan Altima 2013.
I started my ten minute drive to school. Jamming out to the radio, I waited for the light to turn green. I was more than devastated that I had arrived to school.
I should probably happy to be a junior but I wasn't. The only reason I was even near excited was because of Lauryn Andrews. Lauryn and me have been friends for the longest of years. We were practically sisters.
Walking into the school by myself I made my way to the front office. I waited in the short line to get my schedule and locker info. Once I had that I made my way into the maze, also known as Lake Crescent High.
Lake Crescent was a pretty huge school and filthy rich. Our lacrosse team was the best of the best and our academics were top notch. I finally got to my locker and opened it. That's when the hallway got extremely quiet.
A hush fell over the reuniting friends in the hall. Looking over my shoulder I saw what caused the eery silence. It was Luke Edwards and his crew. His crew consisted of Evan Crows and Andy Thompson. The new addition was some blonde bimbo that Luke had his arm strung across. Wow first day back and he already had some girl.
Rolling my eyes as they walked like runway models down the hall, I went back to my locker. I knew they were gone when I heard the talking started back up. Soon a pair of hands covered my eyes and I was blinded.
"Guess who?" A husky voice asked.
"Um Harry Styles?"
"No. Definitely not him." The voice said while removing their hands.
"Good because I love you." I said turning around to face my boyfriend.
"I love you too." Derek said while leaning down to place a kiss on my lips.
"How was your early morning practice?" I asked while shutting my locker.
"What practice?" He asked confusion in his face.
"You know your lacrosse practice this morning. The reason I had to drive myself to school." I explained.
"Oh um well it was practice. Enough of that, let me see your schedule." He said while grabbing the paper out of my hands. He pulled out his own and compared them.
"Well how many classes together?" I asked.
"Two, we have lunch and free period together." He said glumly.
"At least we have some together." I said soothingly.
"Why are you so damn smart?" He growled.
