"That looks amazing!" I said after viewing what we called the final project.

"Well thank you." Luke said cockily and just gave him a playful push.

"Seriously, I think we could get an A on this PowerPoint." I said sincerely.

"Well I hope so." He murmured.

"Um do you want something to eat?" I asked shyly.

"Are you inviting me to stay for dinner?" He asked in a teasing tone.

"Yes?"

"Are your parents coming home soon?"

"Doubt it." I muttered.

"What do you mean 'doubt it'?" he pressed.

"They went to some conference and won't be home for a couple of days."

"So your telling me your staying here? by yourself?" he asked in a incredulous tone and I answered him with a nod.

"Well go ahead and cook dinner for two. I'll be right back." He said as he walked towards the front door.

Well looks like he's staying for dinner right?

Halfway through cooking the spaghetti, there was a knock on the door. Drying off my hands on a towel I went to the door. Opening it revealed Luke and this time he had what looked like an overnight bag in his hand.

"What's with the bag?" I asked glancing down at it.

"Your not staying here by yourself. Something smells good." He said as he invited himself in for the second time today.

Quickly shutting the door and locking it, I followed after. He must have followed the aroma to the kitchen because that's where we walked to. He walked over to the stove and lifted the lid off the sauce and smelled the air.

"Smells delicious." He said once he was done and recovered the sauce.

"Good now get out so I can finish."

"There's more?"

"Yes I have to make the salad."

"Let me do that, go get the plates or something."

"Okay...?" I said as I turned to get the plates and stuff ready.

Once I finished setting up the dining room I walked back into the kitchen. Luke had his back to me and his shoulder muscles could be seen through his shirt as he prepared the salad. Mesmerized by the sight, I leaned against the wall watching his muscles work.

"Enjoying the view?" he asked without even turning to see me.

"How did you know I was watching you?"

"I have this sense that lets me know when you stare at me." He said turning to face me and our eyes immediately made contact.

"So you know when someone's staring at you?"

"No not someone. Just you." He said.

"Well is the salad done?" I asked tearing my eyes away from him.

"Yeah you ready to eat?"

"I was born ready." I said breaking into a smile.

We fixed our plates and went to the table. He sat down across from me, nodding his head at how good the food looked. I picked up my fork no longer waiting to be lady like and start practically inhaling my food.

"Damn you can eat!" He said causing me to stop and look up at him.

I shot him a glare and continued eating. I was hungry, since after our confrontation at lunch I didn't really eat. I looked up again and saw Luke watching me.

"Are you going to eat?" I asked him.

"Yes." He said picking up his fork and getting spaghetti. He shoved it in his mouth and let out a slight moan. "Now this is some good spaghetti."

"Welcome." I said before eating some more.

We finished our food and cleaned up. Once the kitchen was clean we went to the living room and watched some TV. I snatched the remote and opened up the channel guide going to movie channel section. As I scrolled through the movies selection, my eyes flew to my favorite movie.

"Oh hell no!!" Luke groaned as a I clicked on it.

"What?"

"I'm not going to sit here and watch The Notebook. I refuse." He said sternly as if I was going to listen to him.

"Then go home." I said simply.

"Your just trying to get rid of me." He muttered.

"Can you be quiet? I'm trying to watch a movie."

He gave me a glare before returning his eyes to the screen. Halfway into the movie I felt the couch shift on me and in my peripheral I saw him half turned to me. He tried to act as if he was still watching the movie but I knew he wasn't. For the rest of the movie we sat watching each other from our peripherals.

"Well that movie gets sadder and sadder but such a sweet ending each time." I said holding back the tears.

"Whatever." He said dismissively.

"Well I think I'm going to call it night." I said as I got up and stretched my arms above my head.

"Aren't you going to show me to my room?" Luke asked.

"Oh I almost forgot. Come on follow after me."

I turned off the TV and the lights as I went upstairs with Luke trailing behind me. I walked down the corridor to the room across from my room and opened the door. Turning on the light and holding the door open for him to step in. He walked over to the bed and dropped his bag onto it.

"I just need one more thing..." He started as I was walking back out the door.

"Yes?" I asked turning around to face.

"Where's the bathroom?"

"Its the room over from this one."

"Thanks." He said as he turned around to get some stuff from his bag.

"Night." I said as I walked out of the room and shut the door.

Walking across the hall to my room, I shut it softly behind me. I started pulling my shirt off of my body as I made my way to my dresser. Changing into my pajamas I heard the shower start, a small smile on my face. I was glad I wouldn't spend the night alone.
