I was going to die.
It was about midday, and might I add, it was HOT. Also, I was currently being spammed on my phone by Kacey, who was restless to know why Sean had been keeping something from her. Kacey's birthday was in two days and Sean and I were planning something big for her. This led to Sean being secretive, me constantly trying to avoid Kacey, and her, a big ball of confusion.
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON BEA??? Kacey texted me. Nothing at all Kacey, why do you ask? I replied. It was way too freaking hot for this right now.
I was sitting on the sofa in a sports bra and a long muscle tee, my hair twisted into a bun when Sean barged into my house. I groaned. "WHY IS KACEY YELLING AT ME BEA??" He yelled, now in front of me. "Maybe because you suck at keeping secrets, so I have to stall your girlfriend for another two days?" I sarcastically answered. He rolled his eyes and walked over to the refrigerator. He pulled out an ice pack and started spreading it all over his face.
I chuckled, wiping away a bead of sweat from the back of my neck. For God sake, the Ac was on too. Sean turned over to me and said, "We need to get this party moving if we want it to be ready in three days." Without looking at him I said, "We've already got everyone informed and the place is booked, we have an official DJ, and a bar, what else do we need to do?" "We need to keep stalling her so she doesn't find out." Sean replied.
I smirked at him and said, "I think I can take care of that."

So here I was a day later, wondering what I was thinking when I had uttered those words. Sean thought I was perfect for this job when I had tons of things I would've rather been doing than sitting on a couch watching sappy love movies with Kacey.
We were having a "girls night out" and it was very girly so far. I hated it. But for Sean's sake, I didn't complain.
Since when did I have sleepovers and watch love movies while eating tubs and tubs of ice cream. Oh wait that's right, I didn't.
When I woke the next morning, next to a cave woman looking Kacey, I was anxious. Anxious because I needed to get out of this house and because I needed to plan this freaking party.
So I did what anyone would do in that case. I attempted to sneak out of the back door that didn't make any noise. But of course, I tripped over Kacey's leg, and fell right on top of her.
She opened her eyes, screamed and pushed me off of her. "My gosh, you scared me Bea!" She exclaimed. "Sorry, I was trying to go to the bathroom." I awkwardly told her.
"The bathroom is that way Bea," She said while pointing to the other direction than which I was facing. "I know Kacey, but I just wanted some water first." I quickly lied.
"Ohh, okay." She said with a smile, walking into the other bathroom. Now's your chance, Bea. Just leave. My subconscious whispered to me.
We will listen to the crazy thing in my head then, I decided. I quickly scrambled a note about having to leave and I quickly ran all the way to Sean's.
I entered, panting, and realizing how much of a workout I needed.
"Sean, we need to get everything ready!" I exclaimed. He just rolled his eyes and chuckled. "It's her birthday today, Bea, and you just ran away from her, that's not suspicious at all." He sarcastically answered.
What was I doing with my life?
I calmed myself down by taking a shower and getting ready for the day. Today was the party and I was stressed out at getting everything perfect for Kacey's big day.
