Fuck my life
That was all I could say after I took one look at my bloody fist.
It was a painful reminder of the broken girl staring back at me in the broken mirror.
I cleaned myself up and walked out of the bathroom door.
"Bea? Where have you been?" My dad said as I walked out, looking worried.
"I was just fixing myself." I answered, faking a smile.
"Oh alright, listen be ready, you're up on the stage to make a speech in a while," He said, winking.
"A speech about what?" I asked.
"A speech about how you feel about the company." He said, "And I almost forgot to ask you, I'm not going to be here forever and I was getting tired of all this work, I was wondering if you wanted to take over the company, since you are its heir and all." He smiled.
"Oh my god." I said, covering my mouth. "Give me some time to think about it, but on the most part, I'll do it." I answered.
I had missed too much of high school to get accepted to any colleges and I felt that I was ready to start working at the company anyways, so I had said yes.
"Then that's the speech you're going to be making," My father said, chuckling to himself as he walked away.
The first thing I had to do was find Kacey, I had some news to share.
I walked around the house, looking for Kacey, and greeting people while I was at it. I was so used to just faking a smile that it wasn't so hard anymore.
"Oh my, Bea, where have you been?" "Jack told us everything, where is that cheating bitch?" Kacey said, walking up to me.
I almost broke down, but I kept it in. "Let's go upstairs I have things to tell all of you." I said, leading her upstairs.
Sean, Kaleb, and Jack were all sitting in the guest room and when I walked in, they all stood up with their fists clenched, ready to fight. I sort of smiled at the sight.
"I'll kill him Bea, I knew something was fishy." Sean first said, walking up to me.
Then Jack, "Bea, I'm so fucking sorry, I was stupid not to tell you about it and I hate myself for that."
"Bea, I'm ready to fucking fight him, we will all go and fucking kill him if you want." Kaleb said.
"Guys, no, he's out of my life now, it wasn't anyone's fault but mine." "I was stupid enough to believe that I could be loved by him again, there's nothing we can do about it anymore." I said, looking at all of them.
"I have some important news to tell you guys." I sat down next to Jack on the bed, "I'm going to take over Hunter & Co."
They all gasped, then Kacey got up and hugged me. "Group huuug!" Jack yelled, and then I was being squeezed.
"Okay, okay, let her breath now, she's been through a lot tonight." I heard a voice behind me.
"Hey dad." I answered now being let go of. He walked toward me.
"Why didn't you tell me Bea?" "I'm going to be the first to kill him, then these boys can bury him." He said, angrily, getting some nods from the boys.
"No dad, it's okay, it's better to just let him go and forget all that." I said.
He walked over to me and hugged me.
It was time to go make that amazing speech and blow all their minds away like the bad ass I was.
