"Get me file number 356 please." I said to my assistant, "and bring me a cup of coffee while you're at it." I waved my hand and telling her to leave.
My father walked into my office, and just from one glance I could tell he was here to lecture me again.
I smiled softly, my father was the only one who could make me crack a real smile nowadays.
"You're being too hard on your assistants darling, we might have to find you another one for the hundredth time now." He jokes.
I chuckled and walked over to my father. I put my hand on his cheek. He was starting to look old, and I could tell that taking over the company had been a good decision. He had asked me on the day of the ball if I would agree to take over and I had agreed whole heartedly.
"You need to stop worrying about me so much father." I told him.
"Who's going to if I don't," He answered, "Of course, besides Jack."
Of course. Jack would not leave me alone. He would always pop out of nowhere with the most random ideas and gifts. Sometimes he hopelessly tried to make me smile but it never worked and I don't let it show. I can't make the same old mistakes again.
Sean and Kacey had gotten married after being together after three years, and Kaleb had found himself a beautiful girl to keep himself occupied with. Ah, it had already been three years, and I was now preoccupied with work most of the time, going to meetings and traveling was my lifestyle now.
The only thing that has kept me surviving these three years were my father, work, my friends, and as sad as I was to admit it, Jack.

I'm sorry that I couldn't end this book on a happy note, and sad that I leave you here.
With books like "The Queen Of Hearts" and another book I'm working on called "Down With the King" coming out soon, I won't be making a sequel to this book.
Update 3/9/18: Not a sequel, but a whole book full of bonus chapters from Ice Cold! Look out for the book called "Lukewarm" which will consist of bonus chapters and other scenes from the book that I would like to rewrite or explain in further detail for you all !
Love,
d ;)
