Chapter Ten

"Good morning sith lady." a voice said when Rey woke up. "Now let's be clear... I do the shawdy bandages and stuff and you... stick to killing people. Deal?"

"Where am I?" she uttered.

"Not dead. You're welcome. But you just care where you are. Does the doc here ever get a thank you."

"You shouldn't have saved me."

"Why are the Skywalkers so dramatic?" he asked.

"Kill me please."

"Your crazy ass daughter is awake Mara!" Alistair shouted as he walked through into a corridor. "Oh yeah she tried to stab herself. So I've got her on restraints now. Seriously. Skywalkers. Are. Drammatic."

"That's not funny Alistair!" Mara shouted.

"I'm just retelling the facts." he uttered.

Ben still stared into the mirror. He still didn't like how he looked. The now forming scar hurt every time he talked, blinked, and well did anything. Amethyst was supportive of the new look.

"You can get dark clothes now to match your appearance."

"What?"

"Well Mara says Luke used to have a black outfit. You can get one too" she brushed her own hair, putting it up in a braid. "It'll be sexy."

"How do you find this-" he motioned to his face "sexy"

"I find it drop dead gorgeous if we are talking about it. I wish you had a scar sooner, but I don't mind" she turned to him and put her arms around his waist. "The doctors are working on a new eye for you" Ben looked back at the mirror. His eye now paled out.

"They better do it soon" he frowned breaking away from Amethyst and walked into the same room as Rey.

"Why do you want to die?" Ben asked Rey who was sitting up but still in restraints.

"Isn't the answer obvious?" Rey asked.

"No."

"Perhaps not to you... I spent years trying to take him down. Trying to take control back. Trying to be strong. I learned that there was no such thing as love or family or friendship and that emotions couldn't help. I learned that there is only you. I was going to win. I was going to take them all down. Then you came along. Snoke knew everything i was planning on doing. Now I have nothing. The only thing I can do to take back the control is to die. On my terms!"

"That's stupid."

"You know it's the right thing to do."

"Maybe, but it shouldn't be like that. And there is such a thing as friendship, and family. Just look at me, my family doesn't care about the scar, even though I may care about it .they care about the person."

"I gave you that scar" she couldn't look at him.

"True, but I forgive you"

"I wish you didn't. That makes it worse." Rey uttered. "My parents love you."

"They love you too."

"I'm not what they wanted me to be. I'm not me anymore. I was raised to be different. I'm not what they want."

"What they wanted was you alive. So I think you're doing a great job so far, and as for them loving me, they should since I am their nephew"

"I almost murdered my cousin?"
