I get up the next morning with a soreness in my neck. I roll my head around and grab the area where it hurt. My hand touches jagged skin and I freeze. What did I let Luka do last night?
I swing my legs out of the bed and pad to the bathroom. I flick on the light and see the various love bites on my neck and the beautiful mark that my wolf is proudly showing off inside my head.
I swallow and let out a breath. The mark is honestly really beautiful. I know that teeth marks on your neck may not seem all too pretty in some people, but in my eyes it is the most beautiful thing that could happen to someone. Small, intricate swirls spout off from the marks itself; making a beautiful pattern.
Turning on the faucet, I fill my hands up with the cold water and splash myself on the face. With eyes still closed, I stumble around until I find the towel. Pressing my face into the soft, fuzzy cloth I hear a banging on the door.
"Hurry up in there would ya'? I gotta' pee!" Eli shouts from outside the door.
I roll my eyes and begin to walk out of the room. I open the door to see his annoyed face. His eyes trail to my neck when his eyes widen.
"HE MAR-" I cut him off with my hand pressed to his mouth.
"Yes, Elias. Calm down," I mutter to him while he still shouts into my hand. He licks my hand and I let go, waving my hand in the air. I make a face and wipe the remaining saliva onto Eli's shirt. He rolls his eyes at my immature behavior.
"What are you going to do when Luka licks-" he begins.
"Okay! Bye Eli!" I practically shout at him as I begin to walk down the wooden steps.
From my position of halfway down the steps, I hear him chuckle then enter the bathroom.
I hum a tune as I turn into the kitchen.
Am I mad at Luka for marking me?
No. I asked him to. Even though I barely remember snippets of it, I do remember the love in his eyes as he did it.
A small smile begins to make itself known on my face. I walk into the kitchen with a pep in my step. I grab some eggs, cheese, and tomatoes out of the refrigerator. Pulling out a pan I set it on the stove. I grab some bread from the counter, where it was last placed.
Out of the corner of my eye, I spot a small radio that I never noticed before. I flick it on and I begin to cook. The voice of a sports announcer fills the room. My face twists up and I spin the dial until I see the 'Today's hit radio' show up. The speaker-guy-thingie announces the name of the last song before playing another.
I smile at the upbeat song and I begin to dance around and sing along. I spray the pan with non-stick spray and I crack the eggs onto it. A sizzle greets my ears. I sprinkle the cheese onto the egg. I sing along to the song as I cut up the eggs.
"Welcome to my house." I belt out. I move my shoulders in beat. The chorus begins to play out of the speakers.
"Baby take control now. We can't even slow down. We don't have to go out. Welcome to my house. Play that music too loud. " At this line I crank up the volume. I move my hips to the beat and bob my head.
All of a sudden I feel hands on my hips and I'm being pulled to a warm, sturdy body. I don't even have to turn around to tell you that it's Luka. I continue dancing and Luka mimics me from behind, his hands still on my hips. He puts his head on my shoulder, next to my mark. He gently kisses it and I smile.
"That was My House by Flo Rida folks! Next up we have an oldie but goodie. Here's 1,2,3,4 by the Plain White T's!" the announcer says in between switching songs. My face lights up as I spin around to see Luka. I give him a hug as the first verse plays out.
I smile up at him as I begin to sing the chorus.
"There's only one thing to do those three words for you. I love you!" I say while standing on my toes to wind my arms around his neck. He kisses my cheek and returns the action.
"I love you too Vee," He says into the hug. I grip him harder. I spin around to check on the eggs. After sprinkling in the tomatoes I let them cook for a minute longer before I pull them out.
"Luke? Can you toast the bread. Just two pieces please," I say as I pull out two ceramic plates.
"Only if you give me a kiss," he smirks at me. I turn around with a matching smirk. I grab his hand and I pull it up to my lips. I place a kiss on his palm and smile up at him. He pouts at me, but follows my directions no less.
"Thank you!" I state cheekily. He grumbles under his breath. I snicker at him and place the eggs on the plates. I split them up in half for the both of us. The toast pops and I jump out of my skin.
Luka laughs at me hysterically while I grab the butter out of the fridge.
"That wasn't even that funny. You need to chill," I grumble. He laughs harder until he's gripping his sides.
"T-That was the b-best thing I have ever seen you do!" he chokes out between laughs. I grab the pieces of toast and butter them. Placing the toast on the plates, I practically shove Lukas' in his face.
"These are mine?" he asks, suddenly serious.
"No. They're for Eli. I just thought I should give it to you to give to him," I state sarcastically. He purses his lips. I turn away from him and take a seat at the island.
He puts the plate on the counter and stares at it menacingly.
"Luka you know it's yours right? I was being sarcastic." I state through a mouthful of food.
His head turns to me. "That is very mean. You shouldn't deprive me of eggs that look extremely tasty," he mumbles while picking up the plate and stuffing his face.
"Yeah but you love me," I smugly say. He nods his head.
"That I do."
