We stared at each other for a few seconds. I was flabbergasted. Then I couldn’t stand it anymore. I just ran upstairs into my room and locked the door. I immediately called Elise’s number. One Direction? In my house?? It can’t me. It just, can’t be. I waited for Elise to answer the call. ‘Hello?’ ‘Hey, Elise, I…’ ‘Hey, how come you don’t know One Direction? They are the hottest, cutest, sexiest bunch of boys ever born on The Planet Earth. I’m just surprised you don’t know them. Shame on ya.’ ‘Ahem, you never told me about One Direction before!’ I snapped back. ‘I thought you knew. I…’ ‘Elise, listen to me. Come. To. My. House. Right. Now. I’m hanging up.’ I slammed my phone down. Mum was knocking at the door. ‘Coming, Mum!’ I called out. I took a fast bath. Then I put on my clothes and unlocked the door. Mum was still standing here. She came inside. ‘I know your head is bombarding with questions. Let me explain everything. Sit down calmly. I sat down on my bed. Mum sat next to me. ‘Yes, you might be thinking that how come these five boys are here. You must know One Direction by now. Am I right? I nodded. Then she explained to me that Liam Payne, whom I thought to be ‘Lyam Pain’, is actually my cousin. How come nobody ever told me that? I thought. Then she explained that they are gonna be staying with us for a day or two. They are staying in Louisville for a week. Then they’ll continue their tour. After staying with us, they’ll go to their own hotel. Then suddenly I heard the bell ring. ‘Oh, Elise is coming over,’ I told to my mum. Then I suddenly heard the biggest yell I’ve heard in over a century.
