I woke up to the smell of bacon coming from the room next door. Emily, Hadley and I were all sprawled out on the floor of the lounge, the other girls sleeping. Aria, you know the way to my heart.
I searched around for my phone and clicked the home button to check the time. There was a text from Niall.
"Can't wait for tomorrow, hope you sleep well princess. -N xx"
I haven't gotten one of those texts in a while. It feels good to know he might possibly care about me, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Who knows what might happen?
I groggily trudged into the kitchen and snuck up behind Aria, giving her a hug from her back. She still had on the same clothes as yesterday, but she let her hair down this morning.
"Oh hi there!" She said almost too enthusiastically for 9 o'clock on a Saturday morning.
"Mmmm" I mumbled. I walked over to the table and sat down, letting my elbows and hands cradle my head so I could look outside. It was a nice day, partly cloudy with a breeze. The trees were moving just enough so that I could notice.
"Bacon for the girl of the dayyy!" Aria said. She plopped a bowl of steamy, hot bacon in front of me. I looked up at her, smiled, and dug right in. You don't have to ask me twice to eat bacon.
I remember I sobbed for at least 3 days when I was pregnant with Hadley. Every time my aunt would make bacon for breakfast, I would get sick. It was basically me going through withdrawals for a couple weeks.
"Emily, Hadley! How do you want your eggs?" They didn't answer,"GUYS! WAKE UP!"
They both stumbled into the kitchen, aware that breakfast was being made. Hadley asked for the dippy kind, no pepper, with one piece of toast. Emily asked for scrambled whites. We learned last night that she was dieting.
Aria got to cooking, and I thought it would have been a good time to tell Hadley about meeting Niall for that park date.
"So Hadley," I started,"do you remember the boy from Nando's the other day?" I asked her. Aria brought over our food and Emily snapped her head up from her phone with a smile on her face.
"Yeah?" She replied, taking the crust off her toast and taking a bite.
"Well, his name is Niall, and we're gonna meet him at Oakdale Creek park today at 2 o'clock and get some ice cream. Sound fun?"
She nodded her head with approval and a smile, and continued on her merry way of eating. Bacon was placed in front of me and I lost my focus on the day ahead.

12:00 noon ~
"AIMEE! STOP FREAKING OUT!" Aria yelled at me.
"YOU LOOK FINE! PLEASE STOP PICKING OUT OTHER OUTFITS!" Emily apparently agreed with her.
I'd been trying on different outfits for the past hour, and I couldn't make up my mind. I had a pair of mint skinnies on with a black long sleeve shirt that said,'VOTE PIZZA' on it. I wanted to go more casual, so for my hair I put in a light amount of 'Beachy Wave' treatment and pinned my bangs back.
"Ok, ok, fine." I told them,"Em, come do my makeup." Emily had been studying at UNI to be a cosmetologist, so she was always giddy to do my makeup and stuff.
"Yay! My favorite part!" She jumped up and I told her, again, that I wanted a casual look. She told me since my skinnies were mint and my shirt was black she'd be giving me smokey eyes.
"Ok, so how do I look?" I asked as I turned around from the mirror one last time. The looks on their faces were priceless.
"Acca-amazing!" Aria said. Always quoting pitch perfect. How cute.
