Open one up, and you'll unlock a new realm
Far different from our own.
You'll open the door to imagination,
And escape reality.
Pages upon pages,
Marked with the ink of the author's thoughts,
All bound with care
In hopes that the fantasy within
Stays safe and protected.
Many are displayed on the walls
Of homes and libraries,
Each one with its own secrets,
Its own conflicts,
And its own place within the hearts and minds of their readers.
People say it's hard to pick a favorite.
The reason being is quite simple:
They find little bits of love
Scattered in an abundance of titles.
All the quotes and excerpts,
They come out of each one,
And find themselves in the hearts and souls of the person reading them.
Without these beautifully precious items,
Our own realm would be dull,
Imagination and creativity sitting at an all time low,
So treasure them and read on.
