(My boyfriend's birthday is tomorrow, so I wrote this for him. The photo above is from our school's Homecoming dance. Sorry for not updating in a while. School is killing me...)
Happy birthday, my love,
The man I'm constantly thinking of,
You've now been here 15 years,
With smiles extending to your ears,
What would I ever do,
If I had to live in a world without you?
Starting life in the year of the snake,
Now you're sitting here in my wake,
When you departed the womb,
A grand flower felt a desire to bloom,
Your life is a work of art,
One that warms my icy heart,
Hopefully your life will become even better,
Despite my rather small letter,
Keep going and the future is sure to be bright,
More so than the twinkling stars at night,
Many changes happen in the phases of the moon,
In life, some seeming too soon,
You've evolved into such a handsome young man,
In this small 15 year span,
You seem as if you were specially crafted by the gods,
Created by their brilliant seed pods,
With this conclusion,
Though feeling like an illusion,
I say I love you.
Happy birthday, babe.
