Upon our shoulders life puts a heavy weight
That we all fragile people must carry.
Because of this, together drawn by date
Are two lovers that are due to marry.

Both souls have been riddled with much hardship
No young child should ever have to endure.
Sadly there exists nothing they can skip;
Their only option is to find their cure.

The lady is ridden with Lyme Disease
As well as a broken home thanks to Dad.
Somehow the gods had heard her cries and pleas
And sent to her was a handsome young lad.

The gentleman has gone from home to home
Having to deal with stepdads and chores.
In his own head, too much he seems to roam
And sent to him was a lady that roars.

They will be together through thick and thin,
Through pain, love, and through virtue and through sin.
