You

If there is anything in this world I crave,
It would be you and your love,
And everything it does to me.

My skin,
Awaiting your fingertips,
To trace my skin,
And leave behind a trail of goosebumps,
Despite their radiant warmth,

My lips,
Longing to lock with yours,
To feel their passion,
And taste their poison,
That I'll take in their entirety,

My lungs,
Wishing to fill themselves,
With your home-like scent,
Giving me a high,
Like no drug ever could,

My eyes,
Desiring to peer into yours,
Those perfect little pools,
Their deep, dark brown tones,
Like rain kissed earth,

My ears,
Hoping to always hear,
The wonderland of your voice,
That reddens my cheeks,
When you utter honeyed words,

You are the very thing,
Dwelling in this world,
That gives me light and love,
Now that you've entered my life,
I don't ever want you to leave,
Like many others already have.
