I hesitantly stepped on the dance floor in a club my friends made me go to. I HATE clubs however it is my friend's idea of fun and they usually force me into going. The loud music and flashing lights always give me a headache I will never understand why my friends find this so amazing. After stepping on the hell they call a dance floor I immediately wanted nothing to do with this. I looked around and I noticed how disgusting the people here really are spilling drinks everywhere or very inappropriate dance moves that are better suited for the bedroom. After a few minutes I left the dance floor and headed for the nearest corner. Out of boredom I began observing the people around me I soon spot a man around my age black hair and a blue shirt, he looked very uncomfortable. So I decided to get him out of an awkward situation. As I approach him I greet him with
"Hey, I haven't seen you in a while"
"Yeah, It's been awhile" He said playing along. "Do you wanna go get a drink?" He asked.
"Sure" I replied.
The man met me at the bar and we began to talk.
"Thanks for getting me out of that" He chuckled.
"No problem, you looked a little uncomfortable" I replied.
"I'm Phil by the way" Phil said.
"(Y/N)"
"So what brings you here tonight?" He asked.
"My friends made me" I told him
"Me too, I hate clubs to be honest" Phil said.
"So do I, I'm not a fan of dancing next to some sweaty stranger" I chuckled.
Phil and I made conversation for the next few hours until my friends were ready to go.
"Can I get your phone number?" Phil asked.
"Sure" I answerd as I gave my phone to Phil.
"I liked talking to you we should hang out again" He said
"Yeah, you have my number text me when you want to hang out." I said
"I will" Phil replied with a grin.
"Okay, see you, Phil"
"Bye (Y/N)"
