Three hours later, Connor and I decided to go back to the hotel. We left, as soon as we saw the cab park by the mailbox.  We got in the small yellow taxi. Connor told him where we were going. My hair was now soaked, again, due to the storm. So was Connor's, the top of his hair covered half of his forehead.
I look at Connor, tucking pieces of hair behind my ear.
I smile warmly, "Thanks, for everything you did today."
He grinned, his perfectly straight teeth practically shined, "It was fun."
We looked at each other for a minute, and when he looked away, I stared out the window. I didn't realize how much I missed Miami. We got back to the hotel what seemed like two minutes after we left. Connor paid the driver and we started heading inside to the elevators.
"I'll walk you to your room", Connor nodded, smiling a little.
"Okay", I felt myself blushing a bit.
I opened my door, my back facing the room.
"Thanks....Again", I felt my eyes slowly dazing into his.
"Anytime....", his voice got soft and quiet.
His eyes were falling into mine, his body getting closer and closer towards mine.
I shook my head, falling out of the trance, looking down, "Um.. Im going to go pick up Dalton later, so Im going to take a nap.."
Connor stood taller, "Right. Well, I'll see you later then."
I smile weakly and close the door. I can't fall for him, that's not healthy. But who cares? I'm not getting back together with Gray. I don't believe I'll ever have strong feelings for Gray, again. Connor, on the other hand? He did all of this for me. Even though I didn't realize I was infected with homesickness, I needed to come home. I swung open my door.
"Connor!" I whispered-yelled, as I jogged down the hall to him.
"Hmm?" He was fixing to open his door.
"Life is short, right?" I ask, my palms getting sweaty.
He kinda glared, like, 'why did you ask that?'

    "Yea..."

I grin a bit, quickly putting my hands on his cheeks, pressing my lips onto his. He danced his fingers around my waist, picking me up. I wrapped my legs around him, my back pushing his hotel room door wide open.

"Courtney and Hope went to get their hair done. They'll be a while", his voice was quick, and low. His lips fitting perfectly well with mine. This is wrong. So very wrong, but I don't care, right now. I left this man for a wrong reason, and now he has another woman.
"Okay...", I say breathlessly. My cold fingers running through his soft hair.
He pushed me into the wall. This was going to be great. Tame yourself, Chris. No, I can't stop. I won't stop. I grin between his lips and giggle. I slid down, taking off his shirt, faster than I could take any shirt off. Connor slowly took off my sweatshirt, my arms up, as the clothing slid off of me. I had a light blue tank top on underneath it.
My knuckles ran up and down his body, slowly and briefly. My knuckles bumped every time it ran over his abs. I bit his bottom lip, my eyes dazing over him again. He was still practically pinning me against the wall.

    OR

   That's what I wished happened.

"Chris?" Connor made me go out of my daze, "Did you need something?"

I smile weakly, shaking my head, "Thanks again. For today."

"It was my pleasure, I'll see you later."

I close my door, touching my bottom lip like I did after the first time he kissed me. Out of everyone, why did I have to fall for him?
