Dimitri's POV
I glanced down at my beloved. She was sleeping peacefully on the bed, although she wasn't exactly sleeping. I still felt guilty for drugging her, but I needed her to come with me. What would I have done if the Elders found her and killed her? I couldn't live without her, I refused to love without her. I sighed with worry as I gazed down at her limp form.
I feared that she would be angry with me when she awakened. Kevin assured me she would be. Apparently women did not like to be dragged half way around the world without their consent even if it was for their safety.
I shook my head, I'm sure I did the right thing. Now she was with me in a safe place where I could protect her from harm. No one would ever think to look here.
