"Are we going to see the robotics convention in the city?!" the 5 year old boy hoped, jumping up and down with his best friend by his side. With each jump, his black, fluffy, tufts of hair bounced up and down. "Oh please Tadashi?!" He begged, staring up at the older boy with big, brown, doe eyes.
"Tomorrow, you have to be patient Hiro." His brother, Tadashi smiled. The small boy only frowned.
"Come on (Y/n)... let's play video games in my room." He huffed, pulling the (H/C) haired girl up the steps of the lucky cat café. Tadashi smiled and shook his head, fixing his black cap in the process. His kind, brown eyes following the two friends as they climbed the stairs.
Of course to anyone who has met Tadashi and Hiro Hamada, they could instantly see the brother relationship, Tadashi being the responsible older brother and Hiro being... well, the mischievous one.
They were the closest pair of siblings you could ever imagine, both living with their Aunt Cass above a café called 'The Lucky Cat Café'. It was a small and cosy type of place, perfect for hanging out with your friends after school. Above it was where the small Hamada family lived, containing another two floors for living quarters.
Aunt Cass was probably the most energetic person. As well as raising her two nephews, she owned the café downstairs, creating the most mouth-watering pastries (Y/n) had ever tasted. She had emerald green eyes and short brunet hair, reminding Hiro of Elasti – girl from 'The Incredibles' strangely enough.
One of the few people who got to hang out with the Hamadas was a young 4 year old girl by the name of (Y/n) (l/n). She had (H/l), (H/c) hair and (E/c) eyes that always reflected the curiosity she held within herself. Although she was the youngest out of Tadashi, Hiro and her, she showed strong signs of intelligence. Tadashi thought she was naturally a genius whereas Hiro thought that their smarts rubbed onto her. (Y/n) wasn't too sure about either of those theories.
But as predicted, she learned to love what the Hamada brothers loved. As the time went on, every encounter with them involved some crazy science scheme to take over the café or build incredible robots that could do what you would only dream. It was the same sort of thing every day that soon found a place in the little girl's heart to.
And boy were the two children upset when Tadashi brought the bad news. In a city like san Fransokyo with all its tall skyscrapers and neon coloured lights, the city was pretty high up in the charts of technology, but it was the special events in the heart of the city that energized the three of them so much.
Every 4 years, a robotics convention would occur. Inventors from around the world would come forth to show off the latest inventions and robots they had created. At the end of the day, a winner was elected by a panel of judges who would get to take the jackpot prize of $20000. The convention lasted only for three days which left tomorrow to be the final day.
Hiro and (Y/n) were so pumped up and ready to go that they nearly forgot to eat breakfast! Unfortunately for the two, Tadashi couldn't take them as he had to help Aunt Cass at the café. This left them both with lots of energy yet nothing to use it on.
Hiro sighed and turned on the TV, turning on his game console and handing (Y/n) a controller. "It's a shame Tadashi can't take us today... I was looking forward to it." She stated.
"Yeah! I was so excited to!... But my stinky brother just HAD to offer to help Aunt Cass with the café." Hiro huffed in annoyance.
"Hey! Don't be like that! Aunt Cass works very hard to make the best pastries!" (Y/n) argued.
"Yeah but why today!?" he groaned, flopping on his bed and playing around with his game controller's joy stick. (Y/n) looked at Hiro's position on his bed, the conclusion was obvious; he was bored. She stood up and turned the TV off, putting the game console away.
