It was well into the afternoon when Hiro decided to take a break. His thoughts about (Y/n) had stressed him out far too much. Grabbing Baymax, and two bags, he raced to the garage after telling his Aunt his location.
"Ow." Hiro said, waiting for his friend to activate.
"Hello Hiro, what are we doing today?" The robot tilted his head as a sign of curiosity.
"Fly." Was all Hiro had managed to say.
"Does Aunt Cass know?" Baymax persisted.
"No... No she doesn't... uh, she thinks we are at SFIT..." Hiro mumbled as he forced pieces of red metallic armour pieces onto the nurse bot. After the hassle of the stomach plate, Hiro dressed into his super suit as well, jamming his purple helmet with red accents on his head.
"Where will we fly to?" Baymax questioned.
"Uh... surprise me." Hiro spat.
"Your neurotransmitter levels are high, you seem stressed... what seems to be the matter?" If Baymax weren't dressed in a thick armoured shell, Hiro would have punched him hard.
"No kidding Baymax! Always gotta state the obvious! I had a fight about Tadashi, the two least favourite things in the world currently and what's worse is that it was with (Y/n)!" Hiro's rage was only interrupted by Baymax patting his head.
"Then talk-"Hiro was going to interrupt before his robot beat him to it, as if knowing he would try to say something. "If talking is not your ideal method right now, then I shall take you on a flight as it, lowers your neurotransmitters when stressed or upset."
The boy genius fell silent as Baymax waddled out of his garage. He climbed upon Baymax's back as the magnetic pads on his oversized gloves attached to the ones on his friend's back. The magnetic knee pads were drawn towards the lower magnet pads as Hiro steadied himself.
"Baymax, wings!" At his words, Baymax's red wings sprouted and his body position lowered. "Fly!" Baymax had shot up into the sky at a terrific speed, creating a blur for the world around Hiro. The two silently flew around the city, doing loop-the-loops and racing vehicles alongside them.
Many citizens took out their phones for a photo and some even called for his attention but Hiro was too concentrated at the task at hand. Baymax swooped high above the buildings and flew in between the wind turbines that gave San Fransokyo it's power.
At this, Hiro gave a small smile before laughing in delight. "The treatment is working." Baymax observed as Hiro pulled up his helmet's screen visor. The cold air rushed past his face and caused him to smile more. Oh how it had been ages since he last had time alone with his best companion.
Baymax flew towards a giant red wind turbine and landed, letting Hiro off his back so he could sit down. "Thank you so much Baymax, I honestly have no idea how you have put up with my arrogance but thank you..." Hiro muttered.
"I haven't known you for that long Hiro but you do not seem arrogant in anyway." Baymax exclaimed. The boy looked up at his friend. He chuckled before replying.
"If anyone has ever experienced my stupidity, arrogance, bad side or plain out dumbness, you should speak with (Y/n), I may not have seen her in what? 9 years but every time we video chat she always tells me to calm down... Even when we were kids- did you know I pushed her into our bath tub which was filled to the brim? It was a joke but she dragged me in after..." Hiro stood up and looked at the sun that was now setting.
"Shoot, it's getting late! We better go home now huh bud?" Hiro jumped onto Baymax's back once more as he stood up, flying all the way to SFIT. "We can change at the labs and stuff our armour in some spare bags I have in my desk draw.
