Useless and Unwanted ..

I woke up and looked at the clock to see what time it was. 2 am? yeah my dad and step mom are asleep by now. I grabbed some pajamas and headed for the bathroom so that I could take a shower. It is the perfect time to take one since my parents are in bed and I won't be disturbed. I slowly creep to the bathroom quietly so that I Didnt wake anyone up. I walk into the bathroom and slowly twist the door nob and shut the door. I flick on the light and look at myself in the mirror. I have big purple bruises across my face. I sigh and begin to take off my clothes. an aching pain crept through my side each time I lifted my arm. ouch I looked down at my aching side and I saw more bruises. ughhh I let out a soft sigh and finish undressing. I make my way to the bath tub and turn on the water to a very hot but not too hot temperature. I figured the warmth would help sooth my aching body. I step into the shower placing my body underneath the shower head so that the steaming hot water would flow down my sore aching body. it felt so good and relaxing. It was like my little escape from reality time. I close my eyes allowing every inch of pain. every inch of sadness to disappear from mind for just a brief moment. I'm taken from my train of thought when I hear a noise. I peak out if the curtain but Didnt see anything. so I just shrug my shoulders and continued on with my shower. I reach down to grab my body wash out of the shower rack when all of a sudden the lights flickered off. "someone's in here!" , I shouted. peaking out of the curtain to see what was going on but it was to dark to see a thing. I hear the other side of the curtain rustle. before I was about to scream a hand gripped around my mouth..
