Brady's POV:

I can't believe what has just happened. Lelani broke Nemo's shoulder. Even though werewolves heal rather quickly, we are breakable and mortal. But to see that Lelani can brake werewolves' bones is scary. I won't believe it though. I won't be afraid of her. She will never see fear in my eyes.

After the incident, Nemo left the room. He went to sleep on the couch instead. I stayed to calm Lelani down. She was panting and sobbing. She hugged me as she cried on my shoulder. I pulled her away from me in arms length. "Why did you just do that?" I asked her. She shook her head and tried to pull me into her. I kept her at arms' length. "Why did you break Nemo's shoulder?" I questioned her. She narrowed her eyes. Someone was banging on the door. "Come in" I told the knocker. Paul opened the door. He was frowning at Lelani.

"Someone stole my clothes from the west border. Now I see who did it." He bobbed his head toward Lelani's direction. Lelani ignored him. His girlfriend Rachel is really good at cooling down this temperamental guy. So seeing him so relaxed about the whole thing was normal.

"Can you go, Paul?" I asked, trying my best to sound nice. He stepped forward. Lelani turned her head toward him and Paul was suddenly on the floor crying. I tried to move to help Paul.

When I took a step forward, Lelani jerked her head around to face me. She looked completely different. Her eyes were completely black and her face was pale as an eggshell. Suddenly Nemo came into the room. He saw what was going on and jumped across the room. His hands covered her eyes as blood tears came from her eyes. "Come back, Lelani. No one is trying to hurt you. We're safe, Lelli." He repeated the words until Paul left the room, back to his original emotion. Nemo took his hands off her eyes and turned her to face him.

"What just happened?" Lelani asked before I could which stunned me. Shouldn't she know what happened a few minutes ago? Her face was back to normal and she seemed really tired. Nemo hugged her.

"Don't worry we'll figure it out later. For now you need to go to sleep. Do you want me to hold you until you go to sleep?"

"No, but if its okay with you and Brady. Can he stay with me?"

At 3 o'clock in the morning, Lelani fell asleep in my arms. I watched her sleep until Paul came back in with Rachel behind him. Rachel grinned at Lelani while Paul smirked at me. "Dude, you're whipped." Rachel slapped his arm. I chuckled. Lelani whimpered as she buried herself deeper to my side. Nemo was watching from the desk chair. He didn't look jealous just annoyed. He was mad at me because I'm not listening to his warning. I see past the destructiveness and see an amazing talented young girl. I feel like kicking myself because it's wrong of me to think of her in that way. But I have no interest in dating her if she's not ready. I sighed as I realized how weird it would be if we dated.

Rachel walked up to touch Lelani but Paul put his arm out in front of him. Nemo nodded encouraging him. "When she is sleeping, her body will defend itself without her knowing. Rachel, if you touch her right now you will get hurt." Nemo assured her. Rachel frowned at him. What is with all of these girls and their interest with Lelani: first Nessie and Alice, then Bella and Emily and now Rachel? I brushed Lelani's hair out of her face as I tried to relax.
