Nemo's POV:

1 year and 4 months later:

I decided to go back to my pack since Lelani is gone. I won't stick around and watch that evil queen win. I'm done with all of this drama. I'd rather be home than sit around and be bossed around by queen anger management. If she wasn't in Lelani's body, I would have killed her just to shut her up. I wonder how the Quiluette pack is dealing with queeny.

Someone slapped the back of my head ugh. I turned to see who it was even though I already had an idea who was the corporate. Grandma was glaring at me. "What!" I snarled at her. She hit my head again.

"Didn't I teach you better, Nemo Trout Whitetail?" Ugh there she goes again with the ranting. I can't believe she gave me that horrible middle name. Who names their baby, Nemo Trout? This woman is crazy maybe if I ignore her she'll leave me alone. Grandma Beth glared at me. "Get out. Go save her." She said in a dead voice. I got up and put as much clothes as I could in my backpack. "I found Atessa." When she said that my heart skipped a beat. She can't be telling me the truth.

"What?" I gasped. And there she was, my Atessa, my soul mate. She left me to go to college. I was willing to follow her but then I found Lelani so I couldn't follow Atessa. I dropped my backpack to the floor. My soul mate was grinning at me. She was holding a small toddler on her hip. The small boy was shivering in fear.

"Nemo, meet my adopted son and real life cousin, Micko. He's 2. My aunt passed away a month ago and left him for me in her will," Atessa explained. No, we were supposed to have kids together not adopt kids. I bit my lower lip. I sighed. Looks like I have to bring them with me.

"Pack your bags. Bring the blanket. Do with the kid what you will but I don't think he will be safe with me. I have a mission I need to take care of," I said through my teeth. I don't want to bring the little runt with me anyway.

After I packed my backpack, I tied it to my ankle. Then I phased. Feeling the ground between my claws felt right. Atessa decided that taking care of the little runt was more important than coming with me. Fine, I'll just have a talk with her about that after I come back. I went back to the Quilute pack, knowing full well that's what my Alpha wants me to do.

It took me three days to get there. When I did the most horrific sight was in front of me. Lelani/Queen (Beep) was grinning at me as she kicked a dead body to the side. Blood stained her blue dress and her hands. Instantly I knew Lelani was still gone. There were three bodies lying around her. I recognized them all. I worked with them. I cried their names out but it just came out in a whining agonizing howl. Lucas, Seth and Orenda are all dead. I knew attacking her would be impossible she has come closed to killing me before and those were accidents. The evil queen knows how to kill and enjoys doing it.

Suddenly her eyes widened and the voice that came from her was Lelani's. "Nemo, I tried to stop her. Please forgive me," She whispered before she passed out. I ran and caught her on my back. She smelled disgusting.

Alec's POV:

I found Queen Jadeanne. I told her that I would help her defeat Marcus if she did it my way. She agreed. I told her that she has to convince Marcus that she is on his side. So I told her to kill a few of the wolves. She asked me what should she do with the bodies after that. I explained to her that to make it look gruesome and impossible not to notice, to wait for a werewolf to find her, lead that one to us, and you can kill Marcus with the wolf's help along with mine. I went to check if she did it. But what I saw shocked me. Nemo, Lelani's bodyguard found her. Lelani broke free but was to exhausted to say anything else besides one sentence and then passed out. I gasped at that she's back.

We found out that Haper's real name is Ciara. But that doesn't matter because she's all the way in Voltera still. Demetri obviously misses her. I can't believe Lelani's back though. Maybe it's a trick maybe Queen Jadeanne did that to gain Nemo's trust. "What's wrong, brother?" Jane asked smiling at me softly. I patted her shoulder.

"I made my decision"

"What would that be?"

"I'm leaving the Volturi." I answered. Leaving my sister for the love of my life will be the hardest thing I have ever done. "Take care of yourself, sister" I whispered as I hugged her. She shoved me backwards.

"I HATE YOU!!!" she shouted. She kicked dirt at me and spit on my shirt. She grabbed my black robe from me and ripped it into a thousand pieces.

"Good bye" I said softly. I ran off to the one person I knew would take me in, my older sister Clara.
