Allen-West Residence

Bruce Wayne was in STAR City. He had gotten the address to Barry Allen's home in a safe at STAR Labs. Barry had told him the password to the safe before he died. Barry also told Bruce to give Iris a letter that he had written.

Bruce was at the doorsteps of the Allen-West Residence wearing a black button up, long sleeve shirt and tan slacks. He had knocked on the door and rung the doorbell. A beautiful red haired woman came to the door. She was about five foot six. Bruce knew it was Iris from the pictures he saw in Barry's safe.

"Bruce Wayne." Iris West said. "Aka the Batman."

"Barry told you who I was?" Bruce asked.

"Yes he tells me everything." Iris replied. "Why are you here?"

"It's Barry-

Iris West sighed in sadness and she shed a few tears and let out one cry, "Don't tell me." She knew that Barry was gone. "Barry always tried to prepare me for if this ever happened. Whenever he had time off from the job, he always came home for me. During this Crisis thing or whatever they're calling it on the news, he left me a voicemail when I was at a meeting, warning me about this. I tried calling him back five times but he wouldn't pick up his phone."

Bruce got out an envelope with a letter in it out of his chest pocket that was on the left side of his chest. Bruce put it out in front of him for Iris to read.

"He left this for you. He told me to give it to you." Bruce told Iris.

Iris took the envelope out of his hands and opened it to find a folded letter in it. Iris then opened up the letter and read it.

If you're reading this Iris, then that means I have passed away. I know we don't get to spend all the time in the world together but when we did spend time together, they were the best times of my life. Seeing you, being with you, was greater than running fast than the speed of light, working with a guy who could make anything he could image, and basically everything. My biggest regret is not being able to always be there with you. If I could redo something I would redo that. I will be back someday, I promise you that and know that I will always love you Iris West-Allen.

Iris was letting out cries and tears. She then looked up to Bruce and hugged him, "Thank you Bruce."

"You're welcome Iris." Bruce replied.
