bleak i am

I'm such a fucking failure.
everything I see is death.
everyone I see is you.
but I fail to attain those two.
I wear black from head to toe
to show the world how bleak and sad I am
...but all you see is how ugly I am.
if I were to go, no one would know.
the stars will still glow
your eyes will still shine.
I'm not okay.
why don't you see that?
I am broken and weak
I lack in what you seek,
in what you crave.
