There had been this song Kili had grown up with. To him it was the perfect song. All Kili could hear at the moment was that song. If only Kili could dance to it, but his body wasn't present. It was like he had only his mind now. The song echoed louder and louder until Kili actually couldn't take the volume. Covering his ears was impossible, and nothing else could stop the music. Where was it coming from? Where was its musicians?
Kili only sensed the dark.
Suddenly it faltered. It brought a ray of light that shined on a single flute player. Oh how she shone with beauty and grace. Kili wanted to go up and ask her name, but still, his mind was the only thing present. He watched as the girl continued to play his favorite melody. Her golden hair glimmered as another ray of light pierced the darkness. A man stood playing a drum. He began to speed up the tempo. Soon the girl disappeared, left behind by the fast paced song. The man had changed it into a completely different tune.
"No!" Kili bellowed. "I do not want this song! Be gone!"
Everything blackened once again. The song stopped. Complete and utter silence filled around him.
It was like that for what seemed like days..."Treailur! Come on, hurry it up! The drowsiness will wear off soon!"
Kili heard a voice as rough as sandpaper. He tried to remain perfectly still. He was being carried, by a horse it felt like.
"I'm coming master Pityr! But maybe things could move faster i-if..."
"No!! Don't you even ask!! I will not let you ride on that horse! You are my servant, remember?"
The servant Treailur sighed, and Kili could hear the pitter-patter of his feet. He decided it was time to open his eyes. The sun was blazing that day and he had to cover his eyes back up again.
"The mighty King has awoken," Pityr said dryly.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Kili finally opened his eyes, and took in his surroundings.
They were in the middle of a vast desert. There was nothing but sand for miles and miles. Where were they heading? He was on a horse that was being walked by the servant.
"We do not have to answer to you, not yet..." Pityr grinned and speed up his horse.
"Master... Please..." Treailur pleaded.
"Fine! Get on the horse!"
Treailur hopped on the horse Kili was on, and made Kili sit behind him. Kili had barely any strength and ended up laying up against the servant.
"I know you are men... I command you to tell me more!"
"We cannot."
"The master above my master has told us not to inform you," Treailur murmured.
Then suddenly Kili remembered. All the arrows all his men dying... Kino... These were Kinos!!
"I'll kill you!!" He screeched, grabbing at the servant's neck.
"Master!" He yelled.
"Treailur! Let him go, King! He is only my servant!" Pityr hollered.
"You are Kino! I cannot let you live!" Kili tightened his grip. He felt gasps come from Treailur.
"Stop! He is but an elf! An elf I bought!"
The mention of elves loosened his grip.
"So this is an elf?" He asked.
"Yes," Pityr mumbled.
Kili reached for his bow but it wasn't where it usually was.
"We took your weapons... You cannot kill me. Just wait for my master... We will not harm you... Yet..."
"You have a master?" Kili looked suspiciously at the man.
