Sorry it took so long. I am back to finish the story!!

I read the text aloud. "Hey! It's Jesse! So sorry I haven't had the chance to text you, I've been sooo busy (sounds like a dumb excuse, I know) any ways, when do you think I'll be able to see you next? :)" at this point, my voice quivered in excitement. I screenshotted and immediately sent it to Emily frantic with words, not knowing how to reply. She replied within seconds "OMG!!" Her reply wasn't much help to me. "I'm not the popstar, whenever you're in town I'm sure will work PERFECTLY" I responded. We talked back and forth for HOURS.  He was so sweet. If I was sure of one thing, it's that he was absolutely perfect for me. We talked about our interests, hobbies, etc. He told me he'd be back in town in 15 days, but just for the day. School also happened to start in 15 days. I didn't want to look stupid in front of Jesse, using school as an excuse not to hang out with him, but I also couldn't miss my first day of my junior year. I was torn. What should I do?
