Chapter 5: I'm not ready

I arrived back at home relieved. I unpacked and soon after I raced to my friends house. I couldn't just text the news to this particular friend as I did the rest. The girl was completely obsessed. We went up to her room and the first thing I took into notice is that her Jesse McCartney "shrine" had grown since I left. "You like it? Who am I kidding, you can't stand this perfection" as she stared at her shrine. "Actually, that's what I came to talk to you about" I whispered. I told her everything not a detail out. She couldn't believe it. I told her about the girl he had introduced me to at the airport. "Katie Cassidy" she said gleaming in excitement, "um, yeah I mean I guess" I said softly "yeah it's his girlfriend Caitlin!" She said. I looked at her with wide eyes "you knew?" "Well of course I knew! How could I not? They're the biggest couple in Hollywood!" She said as she pulled out some magazines. I took a long look at the magazines, there they both were. Looking happier than ever. "Well since your a jmacer! There's a concert I just happen to have a spare ticket to! I was going to sell them if I couldn't find someone to go with". I wasn't sure if I was ready for that. She didn't understand it, it wasn't just a little crush it was so much more than that. I agreed although I wasn't sure, I could tell how much Emily wanted to go. "Great! The concerts on Saturday at 7:00 ill pick you up" she said filled with joy "and ya know maybe just maybe we could meet him, ya know since you MET him and stuff" she said questioning "yeah maybe I don't know we can try though" I said regretfully
