Chapter 4: this meant goodbye

The seat belt sign came back on to the overhead. That means it was time for landing. We both leaned back into our seats, back where we started. The plane finally hit the ground and landed. We began to pack up our stuff from the long plane ride and start exiting the airplane. Jesse and I both exited the plane. "Do you have someone picking you up?" He asked "oh me? Yeah I do they're just running a little late. They'll be here in a few minutes." I said "well come with me I want you to meet someone!" He said with a big grin. We walked downstairs of the airport to find hundreds of people picking up passengers. Jesse ran towards a girl with blonde hair. I had no idea who this person was or what I was suppose to do. "Caitlin, over here" Jesse called. I ran over to the 2 of them. "Katie this is Caitlin, Caitlin this is my girlfriend, Katie" Jesse introduced. I was completely taken back, he had never mentioned a girlfriend. I felt so foolish. Thinking that Jesse McCartney might actually like me. The three of us chatted for a few minutes, but I needed to get going so I told them goodbye, apologized to Jesse once again for spilling that coffee on him and left the airport. I guess that was goodbye
