"Dean!" I whisper, loud enough for him to hear.

He replies from across the darkened room, "What?"

I say, fiddling with the weapon, "I think I broke it."

I hear him sigh, then hear his footsteps getting closer to me, backing me against the wall. I hand over my gun to him, and he hands me his knife, saying, "Hold this, while I fix whatever you did."

He does something to it, but since I can't see that well in here, I hear him clicking it into place, giving me the assumption that he knows what I did to it.

I whisper, "Why can't I use the knife?"

He hands my gun back to me, saying, "Because you're not ready for that amount of bloodsplatter, Als. You're not prepared...emotionally."

I say, getting irritated, "Right, because seeing my ex boyfriend ripped to shreds by the same werewolf we're hunting doesn't make me prepared for being drenched in blood. Sure. It took me three showers to get it all completely off, but no, I'm still not prepared!"

Dean replies, and I can practically hear him rolling his eyes, "It doesn't matter; you cannot use my knife! Hey...did you say 'ex boyfriend'?"

"Yeah, why?"

He was most likely about to say something, but he's interrupted by a distant roar from inside of the building we're standing in. The lights start flickering, and he opens a door, saying, "In here."

He pulls me in, then shuts the door when he gets himself completely in.

I whisper, "Great. This is a whole new level of awkward."

We're in a closet that's quite small, our bodies are almost touching. Oh dear Cas, please don't let Dean take advantage of the situation!

Like Cas would actually do anything; him and Sam both think I like Dean. And I do, it's just that I don't know what I'm supposed to do! I mean, he's a freakin' monster hunter; I can't just walk up to him and tell him that I like him! It's too...weak. Plus, I've noticed that he's not too familiar in the 'sharing feelings' department. (See? Even that sounded weak).

I can feel his breath on my face, giving me the smell of mint and whatever pie he ate before this. I know that it's pie; it smells sweet.

I blurt, whispering, "I need to tell you something."

"Shoot."

"No, not now, I mean later,  when we're not hiding for our lives."

"I think we're going to be in here for a while, so you may as well just go ahead and tell me."

"You have to promise that you won't laugh or make fun of me."

"Als, the only time I laugh at you is if you approve. I'd never make fun of you or laugh at you to hurt your feelings. Just tell me please; I'm anxious to know what it is now."

I sigh, then say, "I...I like you, Dean."

He's quiet for a moment, making me feel like he's shutting me out. Then he whispers, "Why?"

I'm confused with his question, but I reply, "Well, I'm not entirely sure that I know either. I mean, of course you're handsome and whatnot, but I also like that you're protective, and always trying to make me laugh, especially when I'm upset."

He doesn't say anything else, but I feel his fingers searching for me. His hands pull me to him, by my hips, and he wraps his arms around my waist.

I whisper, "What's this?"

He whispers, sounding really close to my face, "Well, I would say I like you too, but I think 'I love you' sounds so much better. Because I do. I love you, Als."

I smile, then his mouth is on mine, as if he wants to devour me. We completely skipped the soft kisses, and went straight to practically eating each other's faces. He pushed me against the wall, being a little more aggressive, seeming as if he knows what I like.

Then, I suddenly push him off, saying, "Dean, we need to stay on task!"

He says, "You're right, but don't think that means that we won't finish what we started."

"Agreed. I can't wait."

"I really do love you though, and I'll always protect you, Ally."

I say, opening the door, "I know...I love you too."

Then suddenly, I'm grabbed with a huge clawed hand, and thrown to the side. I hear Dean yelling curses at the werewolf before I pass out.
