My phone buzzes in my lap. It's a hospital number. Dean's asleep next to me on the couch, and Sam's laying on the floor, doing something on his laptop. I carefully get off the sofa, not wanting to wake Dean, and step into the nearest bedroom.

I answer the phone, saying, "Hello?"

The voice on the other end, sounding wounded, says, "Ally?"

My eyes widen, and I gush, "Oh Cas, where are you? Are you okay? What happened?"

He says, "It's...it's a long story. Can...can you come down here? Please?"

I ask, "Do you want me to" but he interrupts me, saying, "No! Don't tell them. I just...I just want to see you right now."

I smile a little, then ask, "Okay, I won't, but where exactly are you, Castiel?"

---

I walk into the hospital, hoping that it's not crowded at 3am. I'm wrong, of course, but I try to get by, unnoticed.

I ask the lady at the front desk, "Hey um, I'm here to see someone. Could you tell me their room number?"

The woman smiles, saying, "Sure. What's their name?"

I think out loud, saying, "Cas-no, Jimmy Novak."

The woman gives me a confused look, then tells me 'Jimmy's' room number.

I take the stairs up to his room, wanting to feel less claustrophobic, and walk down the hallway. I find his room, and walk in, hoping nothing looks too bad.

He just looks beat up, that's all. He's in one piece, which is always a relief when it comes to him and the Winchester brothers.

I say, pulling the chair closer to the bed, and sitting in it, "Hey Cas, how are you feeling?"

He says, seeming tired, "Well, I got banged up, but other than that, I'm alright. There's no need to be worried, Ally."

I say, "Well, I was worried when you called me from the hospital at 3am, and sounding like you're dying. Am I not allowed to care about my angel?"

He smiles a little when I say 'my angel', and I realize that I added that word to make it sound a little possessive. He's not my angel. Why am I now noticing that he looks so vulnerable but yet slightly more adorable?

I say, trying to wipe away that thought, "Wait so...what happened? Who beat you up?"

He says, scrunching his face up suddenly, "Well, a bunch of angels attacked me, and they took my powers. I was trying to tell them that I hid the angel tablet, and they didn't believe me, so they basically shook me up and around, trying to find it. They left me on the side of the road, and someone called an ambulance to get me."

I ask, watching his facial expressions, "You okay? Does it hurt? Do you need the nurse?"

His expression changes to relaxed, and he says, sighing, "No, no, I'm fine. It's just a stinging pain every so often."

"Do you want to get out of here?"

"...Yes. Please get me out."

"Okay, I'll be-wait...do you have some grace stored anywhere?"

"Actually, there's a little box in my coat for you. It may suffice."

I walk across the room, and dig in his coat pockets until I find it. I open it, and find a pretty little tube of a glowing blue substance on a chain.

Cas says, "I saved it for you. It's a necklace."

I say, "Aww, thanks Cas. You're so sweet."

I put the necklace on, trying to think of how I'm going to get him out, when I feel a tingling sensation. I look down to see that I'm wearing a nurses' outfit. I say, "Whoa! I can definitely get you out now."

He raises a brow, and I add, "But you have to do what I say, so...act like you're dead."
