Storms

I run home in the downpour, seeing that the tree beside us has fallen down. The wind whips my hair around my face so much that I have a hard time looking out for things.

I open the door to the bunker, and shake off all the water, taking my boots off.  I call, "Daze! Sam! Dean! There's  tornado warning for our area right now!"

I hear something outside that sounds like a flyaway tarp, then I hear a mutter from inside. I turn the corner to see Daisy, Dean, and Sam sitting in the hallway with blankets, flashlights, and pillows. They even grabbed some food for this occasion. I applaud them in my head for being smart.

"Guys, I thought you'd still be sitting at the kitchen table right now, you're kinda' frickin' me out by doing this!"

Daisy and Sam a holding a bunch of cards in their hands. They're colored. "Are you two playing 'Uno'?" I ask, raising a brow.

Sam puts down a card after Daisy, and she blurts, "No! Wrong! Oh my gosh Sam, you needa' blue or the same number! There are instructions on the back, like oh my gosh, it's so simple!"

I gotta' say, it's a little unusual to see Sam holding cards that are meant for a child's game. He just looks so confused, meanwhile Daisy's slamming cards like a expert poker player.

I glance at Dean, and he's just looking at them as if Sam's an idjit. Dean knows how to play, secretly [of course] from their dad.

Sam has a bunch of cards in his hands, some are the wrong colors. It's obvious that he doesn't know how to play, because he keeps making wide-eyes every time Daisy throws a card down.

I slide down the wall in front of Dean, stretching my legs out so that my feet touch the wall next to Dean's side. He asks, "So, what do you wanna' do since those two weirdos are playing cards?"

Dean asks, "Well, we don't have another stack of cards, so..."

I pull something out of my bag, saying, "Well, fortunately, I have my movie player, but I only have the two How To Train Your Dragons and Hercules."

Dean says, clearly not caring, "Okay fine; the dragon one it is."

I turn the player on, then click the first HTTYD, and sit next to Dean to watch it, placing the player in my lap.

About ten minutes into the movie, the alarm suddenly starts beeping, then there's a loud boom of thunder, making me squeal and grab Dean's arm. He says, "So, you can stab a demon, and slice the head off a vampire, but you're scared of thunder?"

"It was the sequence. It kind of caught me off guard. I...I don't like loud noises."

He says, pulling me into his lap, "I've got you."

His arms wrap around my waist protectively, and he rests his chin on my right shoulder so he's still watching the movie.

There's a mutter to our right, and we look to see Daisy flailing around happily and Sam throwing his cards down aggressively.

"How do you always win?"

"Because you can't figure out how to play, you moose!"

"Excuse me? I tried to play, but your prideful butt doesn't want to help me figure this crap out!"

"It's a game Sam...but either way, I won!"

"Ugh! Let's play something else! I" but a loud crash interrupts Sam, causing me and Daisy to yelp simultaneously.

There's a blinding light, then Dean says, after the lights flicker out, "I think that was a tree."

"The wind must've blown it down, that's all." Sam says, trying to comfort us, but mainly himself.

Sam gets up, and Daisy grabs his arm, saying, "What're you doing? You can't go out there!?"

Sam sighs, and sits back down, then I stand up, saying, "I forgot I put something in the fridge."

Dean barely has time to object, because I'm already making my way to the kitchen. I find the fridge, holding my flashlight between my shoulder blade and my neck, and open the doors, trying to find what I want.

I grab a few other things, then head back to the hallway. There's another flash of lightning, and I hurry around the corner, and sit down next to Dean.

"You didn't!?" I hear Dean say, and when I turn, the flashlight makes his eyes look wider than they already are.

"I did, actually, and I'd rather it not go to waste." I say, handing him a spoon.

He leans over, taking the pie, but giving me a kiss at the same time. I totally forget about the storm as Dean's mouth moves against mine. There are gagging noises after a few moments of kissing, and we pull away, seeing Daisy and Sam fake vomiting on each other.

I bust out laughing, and Dean does the same, also trying to open his pie. Once he gets it open, he takes a spoonful, and gets it in his mouth. I'm looking at him for some odd reason, and realize how much I like to watch him eat. The way he chews drives me insane!

"Dean..." I start to say, but trail off.

He looks up at me, and I giggle a little, seeing the whipped cream on his lips. I completely ignore the fact that Sam and Daisy are about two feet away. I lean forward, and kiss Dean, getting the whipped cream off his mouth quickly.

I pull away, licking my lips. Dean says, "Als, we're in the hallway. We're not doing this now."

Sam says, "Yeah Ally, please don't. I'd rather not throw up what little food is in my stomach right now."

I glance at Dean, then at Sam and Daisy, and back to Dean. I was about to say something, but a growing noise stops me. "Do you guys hear that?"

We all grow quiet, listening to the noise that seems to be getting nearer and nearer. "It sounds like a freakin' train." Daisy says.

"Wait a second..." I start, but suddenly, there's the sound of something ripping outside, along with the deafening sound of a jet plane.

"Oh sh-" Dean blurts, throwing the pie to the side, and reaching for me.

Too late.

I'm tossed into the air as the roof is ripped off the bunker, hearing Daisy screaming at Sam. I grab the nearest thing, which happens to be the part of the wall that should be attached to the ceiling. I grip it with all of my strength, while looking around to try and spot Dean. He's holding onto the little light hooked to the wall.

"Dean!" I yell, and he looks over at me, dodging the knife that falls out of his pocket. I hear Sam yelling at Daisy, then a piercing scream. I can't see anymore, but I think we just lost someone.

Something brushes me, and I jump, almost letting go of the wall, but I realize that it's a hand. I recognize the one bulging one, and say, "Dean, what do we do?"

He replies, "Just keep hanging on!"

I try to hold on, using all of my energy, but the noise surrounding me and my fading strength made me let go. Dean grips my arm with such force, and I cry out, "Dean, just let go!"

He yells, "No Als! I can't lose you!"

I feel tears in my eyes, burning them because of the wind, and say, "Come on, Dean! I'll be okay."

Dean doesn't loosen his grip, but he does stare into my eyes, wanting me to crumble, to listen to him.

He lets go. Of the wall.

We both go flying up into the twister, but Dean wraps me into his body, my back against his stomach. He'll die if we land somewhere. I'm praying we'll both just die from getting hit with something that's whirling around with us.

Through all of this noise and utter terror, I can feel Dean's heartbeat against me. I relax a little, knowing that at least we'll be together if we die. I open my eyes, and see something hurling-

I never finished my thought.
