(A/N): So this was the fanfic I was going to submit to the Valentine Contest, and I still need to make revisions to it, but other than that, I think it's pretty good. I hope you like it!
Wishing on a star is not supposed to work. Ever. When it does, that's when you know something's wrong.
Today is Valentine's Day. I was just chilling in my room, typing up a new fan fiction, and listening to some music, when the lights start flickering.
Being me, my eyes immediately glance down at my small tube of salt. Yes; I'm a Supernatural fan, in case you're wondering. It makes you a little paranoid, but it also has its perks. You're never bored with it.
"What is going on?" I say aloud, talking to no one in particular. I get up, saving my writings, and grab my salt tube, just in case.
I try to flick the light switch on and off to see if I can fix it, but nothing works. I close my eyes, then open them, saying, "No, no, don't close your eyes! Um...what would the boys do?"
I continue, trying to find my reason, "Well, um, they would salt the house, that's for sure. And paint a devil's trap either on the windows, floor, or ceiling."
I salt the cracks of the windowsills, and the door, but a noise in the kitchen downstairs stops me in my tracks. Could it be my roommate slash best friend, Daisy, attempting to make something?
I slide out of my room and walk down the stairs, quietly. I peer into the kitchen and almost drop to the floor at the sight.
There's a man in the kitchen who looks extremely familiar. In fact, he looks exactly like...
"Hey Dean, are you done in there yet?" A recognizable voice calls from out of the bathroom.
That's when the man in the kitchen turns, and sees me, wide-eyed, and a little frightened. Those green eyes, that jawline, the hair...I definitely know him. He says, putting his hands out beside him, "I'm not going to hurt you, but I did make some bacon."
I raise a brow, then feel my face soften a little as relief floods through my body. I say, "Oh, I know you won't hurt me. I would like to know why you're here though...dude."
He smiles, then another guy, who must be attached to the other voice, comes around the corner with only a towel around his waist. His abs, hair, and eyes are also very recognizing. I jump a little, then smile, saying, "Gosh, you scared me! But uh, who let you in?"
Daisy comes around the corner, then says, "I did. They look like"
"Yes, I realize that they look like them, but they can't be them...unless..." I say, then trail off, starting to search for a reason why they could be here.
Daisy says, "Okay well, while you're doing that" she yanks the tall guy around the corner, and I roll my eyes.
The bacon guy says, "So, you know us? How do you know us?"
I say, not even skipping a beat, "You two must've been sent here; this is an alternate universe. But how did you get here?"
He says, "You still haven't said"
"You're Dean, and the tall guy who is probably getting banged by my best friend is Sam. You're the Winchesters. You save people, and hunt...things. It's the family business; your family business."
Dean says, taking a step forward, "How do you know that?"
"You...well...your life is a TV show. That's why I said 'alternate universe'. But last time you were sent to an AU was by Balthazar."
