(A/N): I had the idea to write this when I was in the hospital on Thursday, doing a test of some sort. (I don't want to tell you; sorry)
P.S. that's my favorite jacket on Dean. I've been seeing girls wearing one similar to it, and I really want one. Ugh!
"I'm sorry Dean, but you just can't go in with me." Ally says to me, scrunching up her nose angrily, but I still think it's adorable.
"Why, Als? I want to be in there with you, being your support."
"No, Dean, you just...you can't come in this time, okay? Please. Just wait out here for me. And even if you hear me scream or something, I promise I'm NOT in trouble, okay? It's just a test. I'm going to be fine."
I give her my best 'Blue Steel', and she smiles, giggling, then says, "I'll even check for demons or everything else, alright?"
"I know you will. You're my smart girl." I say, cupping her cheek with my hand, catching some of her hair in the process.
She leans forward, and gives me a kiss right as the nurse comes to get her. She says, after standing up and seeing me not wanting to let go of her hand, "Deanie, I'll be fine. I'll see you in a little bit."
I let go, watching her walk away. As she does, the nurse asks, "Is that your boyfriend?"
Ally smiles, glancing behind her shoulder, then turns back, saying, "Yeah. He's amazing."
I grin, then hide in the random magazine that Ally handed me. My thoughts immediately start running through the worst case scenarios. I shake my head a little, trying to keep myself from running in there, even though she told me not to.
C'mon Dean! Keep your calm, seriously, she can handle it! You've seen her in action; you know what she can and can't tolerate. So stop, and relax. She's fine, Dean. Geez, chill out!
I chuckle to myself, then I hear a shriek that sounds like Ally. I flinch, ready to dash in, then remember what she said. Right. I still have to sit here, even if she screams or whatever else I hear. She didn't even tell me what she was testing for, either. That just gives me a whole nother set of unsettled nerves.
There's another shriek unmistakably from my girlfriend, and I suddenly feel like curling up in a fetal position, but I can't actually do that anyway. I just don't like her being in any pain at all. But if she said she can do this, I trust her.
It gets quiet, except for the clanging of a few gurneys passing by, people chattering quietly, and phones ringing. I feel a little suspicious about the quiet, but I contain my anxiety efficiently. I start to get a little heated for some reason, and peel my green military jacket off, and hang it over the arm of the chair.
I feel antsy now. I don't want to sit still. I want to know if Ally's okay. There's another shriek, and I drop the magazine, it startling me so bad.
A few minutes later, Ally walks back out, with a small smile, and looking completely normal. She walks up to me, and she holds out her hand, saying, "C'mon, Deanie."
I hesitate for a second, then take it, standing up, and following her out of the hospital. We go get lunch at her favorite place (Chick-fil-A), and eat there, just because she didn't really want to go back to the bunker yet.
She laughs at me, watching me eat the waffle fries, then she says, "You act like you've eaten absolutely nothing in days."
I reply, "You know I haven't!"
"Yeah you have! We had those freakin' awesome cheeseburgers yesterday, what the heck are you talking about?"
I smile, and she laughs some more, probably because my mouth is literally completely full right now. I ask, a little anxious, "So, um, are you okay or, um...?"
