ArcheryUmi made the room.
ArcheryUmi invited Elichika and Maki to the room.ArcheryUmi: I thought I'd brief all of you on the current situation.
Maki: ...because?
ArcheryUmi: Because, as you know, we're up against the rest of the group with this.
ArcheryUmi: I'm confident that Soldier Game will be the best song, but I thought I'd check how things are going on your part. How's the choreography going, Eli?
Elichika: Pretty well, I'd say. How are things lyric-wise?
ArcheryUmi: Fine. I'm working with Maki, who was kind enough to help with music, to put a good melody to words.
ArcheryUmi: Right, Maki?
Maki: ...whatever...
ArcheryUmi: Right. Let's discuss the opposition.
Elichika: The contest is only for fun, Umi...
ArcheryUmi: Of course, but we still have to prove that we're the best!
ArcheryUmi: Our first opposition is Honoka and Rin.
Elichika: Their voices go so well together.
ArcheryUmi: And they're strong on the smile front, but...
Maki: The combination of Honoka, who can be very unmotivated to do work, and Rin, who can also be very unmotivated, means that hardly anything will get done.
ArcheryUmi: Exactly. However, then there's Kotori and Hanayo. They have all of the pure idols.
Maki: What about Nozomi?
Elichika: Let's be honest, the fact that Nozomi is officially categorised as 'pure' is a joke.
ArcheryUmi: Right. Which means the combination of purity and sweetness will be hard to beat...
Maki: And they have Kotori, the best clothes designer on the team.
ArcheryUmi: Is there any reason to be optimistic about this?
Elichika: I suppose that, even though they have all of the pure idols (the actually pure idols) , we have all the cool idols.
Maki: Yeah. Ours should be great, Umi. Chill out.
ArcheryUmi: tHERE IS NO REASON TO CHILL OUT OVER THIS
ArcheryUmi: Lastly, Nozomi and Nico.
Maki: No real problem.
Elichika: Agreed.
ArcheryUmi: Let's move on.
ArcheryUmi: Has everybody written their solo songs?
Maki: Yeah.
Elichika: All done.
ArcheryUmi: I hope you remembered what I told you?
Elichika: Yes, you said we had to write songs full of emotion and depth.
ArcheryUmi: Correct! I wrote about my emotional journey and how I worked up strength in my heart to always persist on towards my goals. It's called 'Reason for my Courage'.
Elichika: I wrote about how hard it is to push the pain and sadness away, and about how that feeling seems as though it will never end. I call it 'The Reaches of my Mundane Sorrow'
ArcheryUmi: Perfect!
ArcheryUmi: ...Maki?Maki left the room.
Elichika invited Maki to the room.Elichika: You have to tell her, Maki.
Maki: ...right.
Maki: You know how you said not to write a typical idol song?
ArcheryUmi: Yes?
Maki: And you know how you said to make it about your personal experiences?
ArcheryUmi: ...yes?
Maki: I tried to write a song about my personal experiences...
Maki: But it ended up being a typical idol love song.
ArcheryUmi: ...
ArcheryUmi: yOU HAD ONE JOB MAKIArcheryUmi left the room.
Maki: ...about Nico.
Elichika: I guess you could say that was... 'daring!!' ?
Maki: sHUT UP
Elichika: ... Let's just be glad that Umi wasn't there to see that confession, shall we?
Maki: What's that supposed to mean?
Elichika: Never mind.
Maki: You totally would have done the same about Nozomi.
Elichika: ...
Elichika: Let's keep this between usElichika has left the room.
