Chapter 20

I woke up early to sasha and adrian arguing. I looked down and i was tucked into bed with my pjarmers on. I swore i fell asleep with my towel on. Sasha pulled the curtain across and i just sat up.

"Her. Really ? You have spent the last month with her looking after you and last night you decided to change her because she was going to catch a cold as you said. I should of looked after you shes nothing to you where as i am your girlfriend!" She snapped while pointing at me.

"To be fair sash i never asked you out, you assumed you was my girlfriend. But all we done is have sex and from the beginning i said we was fuck buddys that is all. I never wanted more from you"

"You are a prick"She slapped him and walked out.

I burst out laughing and strecthed out. That was entertaining to watch when you first wake up.

"urm sorry about that"

"Don't worry i don't need to watch jermemy kyle now i had my drama for a day" I laughed. He smirked at me as he pulled the curtain right across so it was wide open. He grabbed a pair of joggers and put them on. I watched him as he took his tank top off. There was a scar from the bullet wound. I flinched to the memory of it.

"Does it hurt?"

"Not really"

"Honestly?"

"It hurts now and then but the doctor said it would for at least 3 months even after it scarred."

I got up and went to my closet and picked out a nice dress to wear as it was sunny.

The next few months had flown by. It was may time and it has been fun. Adrian and i stayed friends and got closer to each other since him and sasha had argued. She would spread rumours about me and so on. The usual bitchy stuff when a boy dumps a girl and another girl spend more time with him jealousy kicks in.

It was lunch time and adrian and i was out for a drive. He was driving for a change. He stopped the car in the middle of no where.

"Adrian what are you doing" I said as i looked outside the window to see where we was.

"I need to tell you something"

"Whats that?"

"I urm love you"

"You love me? But you cant, you love sasha"

"I never did love sasha she spread rumours about that so you wouldnt have a chance with me"

"Oh"

"Look brooke, these last few months have been amazing we will be finishing our course at the end of july so not long left and i would love it if you would be my girlfriend" He stared into my eyes.

"I urmm,...."

"Well what do you say?" He looked aggitated.

"Yes i will, on one condition"

"Whats that?"

"You admit i am smarter than you" I smirked at him.

He started up the car and continued driving back to the university. It was silent throughout the drive there. We got to the university and i got out and started walking in without adrian. He ran upto me and held my hand.

"yoursmarterthanme" He mumbled.

"What was that ?"

"your smarter than me" He whispered.

"Sorry i cant hear you" I smirked.

"YOU ARE SMARTER THAN ME" He shouted. He looked around in embarassment to see if anyone was looking.

"I heard you the first time" I whispered and ran back to our dorm room.

Adrian caught up with me.

"Hey since it is your birthday i can treat my new boyfriend"

"Oh yeah whats that?" He winked.

"You'll see" I winked.

We walked into the building and all we could see was people whispering and pointing at us.

"How does it feel being centre of attension for a change"

"Not good can we get back to our room please"

We walked to our room and everyone was still staring i should be getting used to this because i have been seen with adrian many of times before and been whispered about. We outside of our room and i turned to him and kissed him.

"Ready for your surprise"

"It's in there?"

"Yeahh"

"Come on then"

I opened the door slightly and he leaned in and kissed me. I let go of the door and wrapped my arms around him and he leaned in closer. I leaned in a little too much and we fell through the door still kissing.

"Surprise" Everyone shouted and they noticed us on the floor and burst out laughing.

Me and adrian got up and he thanked everyone. A few hours passed he opened his presents had a drink and everything else people do on their birthday. We said goodbye to the last people that was in there and i shut the door.

"Finally, time for ourselves"Adrian said as he came closer towards me.

"Actually i have one more surprise for you" I kissed his cheek.

"What else can you surprise me with you have surprised me with enough things" He looked shocked.

"Remember that time you told me about your brother. He is in the army and you have never seen in him since you was little"

"Yeah your the only one i told"

Adrians P.O.V

"Brooke tell me what is the surprise?"

"Hello brother"

I turned around and there he stood. My long lost brother.

"Hello Joe"

He came towards me and we hugged. I know im supposed to be the badass but this is my brother after all. I let go of him. I turned to brooke

"How did you..."

"My dad is in the army remember  i asked him about your brother and i wrote to him"

"You are amazing" I kissed her deeply she knew i loved her from the minute i kiss her.

"I will leave you to it"

After brooke left we talked for hours. I updated him on everything and he told me about stuff too. I had a wonderful time with him. I still can't believe that brooke found him.

"It's time for me to go now, heres my number, give me a call sometime we'll have another catch up"

"Great to see you bro"

"You too" I hugged him again and he left.

A few months we had met up and chatted until he had to go back to the army i said i would write to him. Brooke and i was growing strony we got our degree in journalism. She also took me to see her parents and brother it was great. I had decided on getting myself a flat from the money i had earned from the gang a few moths back. Brooke had moved in with me and she had caught pregnant in december. We had a lovely baby girl and we named her lilly-may. My sister had got married to jordan and was currently pregnant. My life is great right now, no more gangs no more dramas.

"Babe lilly- may is crying will you grab her while i get her bottle please"

"Yeah of course"

I picked lilly up and she stopped crying. Brooke came in with her bottle and out of the blue we heard he speak for the first time. She said DAD!
