Chapter 19

I looked up quickly to see who it was and it was Adrian and Jordan. I ran to hug Adrian.

"She have been stabbed get her to hospital" I told jordan as he rushed for her.

Adrian dropped to the floor.

"Adrian whats wrong?"

He took his hand from his stomach and there was a bullet wound.

"OMG you been shot!"

"You could say that" He said sarcastically.

I grabbed him up and callum had helped. There was paramedics and police here surrounding the hotel or apartment whatever it was. The paramedics took adrian off us. I wanted to go with him but the police had stopped me.

"Miss we need to take care of you and ask you a few questions"

"I need to be with him"

"I go with him Brooke, ill text you the minute i know something" Callum said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"Thank you callum"

He ran to the ambulance and they shut the doors. Sophia had already been taken to hospital and jordan went with her. The police escorted me to a room and sat me down. For an hour the police was asking me question and what had happened i cried nearlly all the way through the interview. They let me go after the last question and i caught a taxi to the nearest hospital.

Once i got to the nearest hospital, i ran to the reception desk.

"Has Mr Adrian Smith and Miss Sophia Smith been admitted here?"

"Who are you to them" asked the receptionist.

"I'm his girlfriend and her sister in law" Lies but i needed to get in.

She told me what ward they was on. I rushed to the elavator and rushed to their ward. I got outside adrians room and Callum and cameron was outside there.

"How is he ?"

"They got the bullet out in time, He had a major operation and he is still asleep we just come out. He's lucky brooke"

"How is sophia?" I choked through the tears.

"She is fine she is all stitched up and awake. Jordans with her now she've asked for you"

"Can i go in and see him?" I pointed at adrians door.

Cameron and callum nodded. I opened the door to his room. He was lying on the bed unconcious. I stood beside him.

"Adrian, please wake up. I need you.I couldn't go through this year without you. You have been nothing but nice to me and i pushed you away when i needed you most. I love you and you even knew it before me. Please wake up. My hero" I kissed his forehead and sat on the chair next to him and fell asleep. I woke up to find that i had slept for the full night beside him. I had held his hand all the way through the night i stood up and kissed his forehead still holding his hand. I felt a squeeze on my hand. Also a crackled voice.

"Brooke"

"Adrian" I smiled and cried happy tears. I ran and called the doctors and they took me out of the room so they can examine him.

"Whats happening?" Callum asked me looking all worried. I wiped my tears.

"He woke up" I smiled.

Callum hugged me really tight from happiness. Sophia and Jordan came beside me and tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around.

"Sophia!" I turned and hugged her.

"Are you okay "

"Yeah whats happening with my brother?"

"He just woke up and you should be in bed" I tried to frown at her.

"I know but im worried"

We talked for an hour and she had cried in my arms. I sent her back to her room with Jordan and had said that i would call her when she could see him.

A doctor came out and said that he had asked for me. I walked through the door and he smiled at me. I walked towards his bed and sat on the edge of it.

"Your hero huh?"

"Yeah you are and sophia's"

He smiled at me knowing that i am really happy that he is alive.

"How is my sister"

"She is fine she have gone back to her room and they are letting her out tomorrow."

"I have to stay in her for a few weeks they said that it done alot of damage and they need to keep a close eye on me"

"Im sorry"

"Dont worry about it im not. It gets me out of doing any work"

We burst out laughing. Me and the guys had to leave the hospital as visiting hours was over.

A month had gone by since all the drama had happened. Adrian was out of hospital, sophia's wound had gone better. Her and Jordan got engaged finally after all the hints she had given him. I went home for a week and spent it with my dad instead of other people and had explained to him what happened. He hugged me till i couldn't breathe. My brother had been away in unii at that time so i was glad of that because i knew if i had told him he would flip worse than my dad.

I haven't been happier since this new month had started. A fresh new start for me. Adrian and sophia had swapped dorm rooms too so i could keep an eye on him as he said i was his nurse. Things have been much better. They had thrown Mason in jail for life and cameron, molly and matt returned to their original lives.

"Nurse" Adrian smirked.

"Yes patient" I played along.

"There is a knock at the door"

I went to open the door and sasha had pushed passed me.

"Baby what happened to you?" She sobbed as she hugged him. If i hadn't mentioned already, we have been dodging sasha for a month because she would of pushed me away.

"A fight"

"Where have you been for the last month???"

I hadn't heard his reply because i left. I couldn't believe after all i had done he was still with her. I had confessed my love to him and he hasn't took the hint. That's it no more being nice ive tried and tried even though i had looked after him i don't think i will ever get the chance to be with him even if i tried.

I walked to my class. Today was the day we gave in our assignments. Me and callum had finished ours in time, despite everything that has happened. As usual Adrian came in late. I tried not to make any contact with him. The lesson had dragged by, but i had finished a whole booklet that we was supposed to finish for homework. I gave in my booklet and left to go to my dorm. I needed a good sleep it was 7pm by the time the lesson was finished. I got to my dorm and sasha was sat on his bed. I pulled the curtain across that i had put up before he came into this room so i would have my privacy. I jumped into the shower and after i got out i fell asleep in my towel in bed.
