~~FlashBack~~

8 year old (Y/n)

"Once upon a time there was a little guardian." Theo starts off.

"She was seen as weak and fragile to everyone,so they gave up on her being their guardian."

"NOO! THEY DIDN'T GIVE HER A CHANCE!! I KNOW SHE CAN DO IT!" Young (Y/n) exclaims. Theo gives a chuckle and pets her hair. "Yes she can. Now little wyvern be quiet and listen to find out." (Y/n) rests her head back on his chest with his arms wrapped around her and the book in his hands that lay in her lap.

"Even though the little guardian was seen as weak and fragile, they were strong in their love. They protected their dear town with all their might, without acknowledgment from anyone. They received no praise and no love for their work. But they didn't mind. Because the happiness of the town and the sounds of laughter was enough for them to keep them going.

One day, darkness overshadowed the town. The townspeople were left with a plague nearly incurable. Depression spread over the town like wild fire. The guardian was saddened because of this and began their work. They were going to find the antidote and the source of the plague. Soon the guardian spent years trying to figure out a cure and finally came to a conclusion along with what the source was.

The plague was called the Black plague. A plague that spreads through the body slowly shutting the body down. It was caused by dark magic gained from so much hatred in a person. The only way to cure it was with the Light of a pure heart.

The guardian set out to find the source. Believing it wasn't to far, they set off east. Through a forest with creatures unknown, and terrain full of beautiful evergreens. As they continued the terrain began to turn black and seemed like death himself came here. Soon they met up with a an energy so dark that the guardian had to back away from it.

'Who dare be in my presence?!' The darkness spoke.

'I am a guardian. I've come to ask you to lift the Black plague off my village.'

'HAHAHAHAHA, you think I'll lift the plague? Never! Your village is filled with hatred and greed and selfishness. Everything I need to survive. So tell me...why would I exactly lift the plague?'

'Because I see lightness in them. They can change their ways.'

'Alright, if you think so, go back to your village, tell them of me, and have them change their ways. You have 3 days. If you fail, your life belongs to me and your soul consumed with darkness.'

The guardian agreed and went back to the village. He announced what he had learned to the village. Many did not believe the guardian, very few did. So when the 3 days were up, the guardian kept his word. He went back and gave his soul to the Blackness.

Only to have his soul back.

'What are you!? You are to pure for me to take your soul. GAAH, THE PAIN!!!' The darkness was hurt. What is the the guardian wondered. Pure?

'What? What do you mean? How am I pure?'

'You are selfless, you have determination, and you hold love for those who have no love. You are to pure for my darkness. And now...GAAAHH! It's forcing me into a state of weakness. You will pay for this. Decades from now, I will find your descendant, and here will be a great battle. A battle to decide whether who will truly be more powerful. GGGAAAAHHH!!! Until then....
