Chapter 36 : Reoccurring Dreams

Late into the Night 

Your POV

  ~~Dream~~

  "You weak little rat!"

  "You freak!"

  "Who loves a girl like you? You'll just endanger everyone you will ever care for!"

 Harsh statements continue running around in the darkness. My hands tied to a metal pole, my chakra blocked, my body numb, and my body covered in scratches and bruises. My wrists bleed from the rough rope out of attempts to free myself. Who are these voices? Where are they coming from?

  "(Y/n)?! Where are you?!" A feminine calls.

  "Try this way, we got to find her!" Another voice, more masculine.

  "I found her this way!" Soon my body is engulfed with dark swirls. I hear a evil laugh erupt all throughout the darkness.

  "You think you can save her? You can't save her! She'll never be able to save you either! Because you all will be DEAD!"

  My eyes widen. Fear erupts through my entire body.

~~Dream Ends~~

  "NOO!" I scream. My breathe ragged and my heart rapidly beating, my vision begins to clear.

  "(Y/n)?" I turn my head towards Levi, whose arms are lazily wrapped around my, but are tightening with worry.

  "You alright?" I look into his grayish blue orbs and see them full of concern.

  "Y-yeah, just another nightmare. Sorry for waking you. It's just the same dream from a few weeks ago. It starting to reoccur, like it's warning me of something."

  "I'm sure it's nothing. Its a dream after all. You're probably just getting them from all the stress thees last couple of days." He kisses my head and lays me back down on top of him. My face buried in his bare chest and his arms wrapped warmly around my, hugging my body close. 

  "I'm here, brat. Don't ever think I'll be mad at you for waking me in the middle of the night if something is troubling you. Now get some rest you need it."

  "Alright. Goodnight, Levi." I give a small kiss on his shoulder as he gives one on my head. My arms wrap around his neck loosely, hugging him closer to me.

  "Goodnight, brat."

Next Morning

  "What do you think Erwin called us all here for so early? Is there an emergency?"

  "I'm not quite sure." Papa Snow said.

  "We'll just have to find out when he gets here." Levi bluntly says. We've been called to the Queen's private quarters early this morning. It's only me, Levi and Papa Snow. Everyone else is still sleeping at the moment.

  "My I have your attention!" Our heads turn to see Erwin and he Queen with Helena by her side. We all bow to show respect to the Queen, after that we continue with the private meeting.

  "Erwin, why are we all here?" Papa Snow asks.

  "This about the Casper marrying Serine. We all know he's a wolf in sheep's clothing, so we have to stop this wedding somehow." Erwin states.

  "Serine is like a little sister to me. I wish the best for her, and Casper is certainly not the best." The Queen says.

  "How will we stop it? We have 'no reason' for us to stop it."

  "We can delay it. But for only a small amount of time. The best I can give you is possibly a week or 2. If I can get you more, it'll be a miracle." The Queen praises. 

  "Your Majesty, any time you can give us will be a blessing. This scoundrel must be stopped. If he gets his hands on those family heirlooms. Whatever they may be." Helena intervenes.

  "We have to move fast if we want to find out what so special about those heirlooms. Your majesty, you hide them. What exactly did you hide?"

  "Oh, I didn't hide them. I only know of them."

  "What do you mean, 'know of them'?" 

  "I found out about the heirlooms when I visited the tomb to pay my weekly respects. Something seemed off, so I investigated. I'm not willing to speak about what is in there in this room. It may be my private quarters, but we may never know when unwanted ears are listening."

  "Guess we'll have to find out ourselves. Can you escort one of us with you to your parents tomb?"

  "I'm afraid not. The tombs of the royals have a spell casted over it where only blood related or marriage related may enter. Anyone else may be electrified to death and burned to a crisp."

  "Well, I'm not wanting to die anytime soon." Levi said.

  "Then how will we get in there? I'm not risking the Queen to go and retrieve it. She's already being targeted and we don't know when there might be another attack one her life. One might happen while she is coming out of the tomb." Erwin proclaims.

  "I agree with the Commander." Helena says.

  "Then what will we do? Let Casper take the heirlooms and doing whatever he pleases?!" Levi exclaims. Soon the room is filled argument about the very flawed plan. I ponder about the spell protecting the tomb. Only royals or related or even related by marriage is allowed to enter. I heard of these types of spells before, but something was able to get by it. 

  "(Y/n)." I turn my head to look at Papa Snow.

  "Are you thinking about something to bypass the tomb's spell?"

  "Yes. Why?"

  "I may have a way for someone to get by."

  "What would that be?"

  "Do you remember the illusion spell I taught you?"

  "Yes of course. Its a simple spell. Sometimes so simple that more complex spell seems to practically not seem to.....notice it. We use the illusion spell on someone, have them go into the tomb with the Queen has a guard and a carrier and get back out before Casper gets ahold of the heirlooms!"

  "Yes indeed my little wyvern."

  "Guys!" They all quiet down and look towards me and Papa Snow.

  "I think we found a way to bypass the tomb's spell and allow the Queen's safety."
