Chapter 35 : New People

Few Days Later

Your POV

"Armin! Have you found that book yet?"

"No! Not quite! The royal library is quite large. I'm so fascinated by the varies of books in here."

"Of course you are bookworm! It's the size of the ballroom with about 100 bookshelves filled with books!"

It's taking me and Armin days to find the books on Light holders. In a library this big, we were unlucky to get more people to help us. Everyone was either busy with something on the investigation or busy with the wedding. Both reasonable excuses, but I wish we had maybe a little more help. How many books could there be?! This library has to be filled with generations of authors.

"(Y/n)! I think I've found one!" I step off the ladder I'm on, and walk over to Armin who's looking through a book relatively close to the topic of Light.

"Look here. It says that Light holders can only be off pure hearts. It's also part of a blood line of people. And according to the Queen, her friend (Mom's name) (Last name) was the last of the line with an unborn child. So the line was cut off. That is unless the child was born and was never discovered."

Armin's smart. He's hit the nail on the head.

"You're certainly right, Armin. But that narrows done the last Light holder down to about everyone."

"Right. This is going to be difficult finding whoever the Queen referred to."

"Most indeed."

As we continued our search someone comes through the giant doors.

"Miss Moon and Mr. Arlert. I've found someone who could help speed up the process a little bit." The Queen says.

"Oh, your Majesty. Thank you, we could use all the help we can get."

"May I introduce to you to one of my personal servants and most loyal friend, Sapphire." A small, petite woman comes out from behind the queen. She has blonde hair and bright blue eyes that could pass as sapphires. She was wearing a uniformed servant outfit of the royal family. Mostly gray, light naval blue, and light colored lavender colored scheme along with some sliver, with a hint of light lavender, knee high boots.

"Hello." She says quietly.

"Hello there Sapphire. I'm Armin. This is Special cadet Moon. Or known as (Y/n)."

"Hello there Sapphire. There's no need to be shy. We're all friends here."

"Miss Sapphire here can speed up the process ten fold. You see, she's also one of my top researchers. She's a magical like you two. Her's is Knowledge Lock. Whatever she hears, writes, reads, or speaks, she's remembers it all. Although her knowledge lock is limited. That's the reason why I have her go anything she discovers while it is still fresh in her mind. Knowledge is power, but she's trained herself to forget. Knowing too much knowledge can be catastrophic to those of our enemies."

"Knowledge lock? I've read about that! Sapphire, you are one lucky girl. Having such a gift is what most scholars would love to have. I'm a Norm, but I believe me and you could do a lot of work together." Armin exclaims.

"Armin is right Sapphire. You have quite the gift."

"Thank you." She says quietly again, although giving a small smile.

"Now, I must be going. Sapphire, you be on your best behavior alright. I'll come by to get you soon."

"Yes, your majesty."

After the Queen leaves, we show Sapphire where we left off. Soon enough we got down with everything by the end of the day. Armin and Sapphire made quite the friendship, talking about their favorite authors and their dreams to one another. I can see them being quite the team in the future.

"I'll see you both in the morning. I'll need you both to help me with the profiling of what we found out today. So get a good night sleep and I'll meet you both in the grand hall for breakfast."

We spread off into our own separate ways.

Sapphire's POV

After I went my way, I made my way to the Queen. I knock on her door and make my way in.

"Your, Majesty."

"Sapphire, I need you to tell me what you heard exactly. From Miss Moon's conversation with Casper. Don't leave out a single detail."

(Sorry for it being so short and a bit late. I had to re-read my own story so that I could remember certain detail and make notes. Usually I'm good with keeping up with my stories, but this time where I'm including so much mystery and so many new characters and still try to keep up with the characters of the original AOT and the reader its a bit difficult if you know what I mean.)
