"Never underestimate the power of regret." -unknown
Once I turn around I find myself looking up at a a tall dark figure. I then I realise it's Aaron.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
There seems to be a flick of excitement in his eyes.
"Well, I've always fantasied escaping from a prison. "
My heart starts to burst with anxiousness to see Anna again.
"You lead." I respond while tossing him the bag of tools.

"Your saying we escape in broad daylight?" I ask, thinking it was the dumbest idea ever.
"Of course, they switch posts every 2 hours, and take hour lunch breaks at 12:30 and 1, meaning the time to escape should be around... 1-1:30."
Aaron states as if it were common knowledge. I, of course respond with a baffled look.
"How do you know so much?" I ask immediately regretting the question. Silence fills and my inquisition lingers in the air.
"Lots of years mean lots of knowledge." He responds thoughtfully. With this said I wondered how long he's been in here. And more importantly for what reason. I start to wonder the question I should've thought a while back, should I trust him?
