Chapter 4
*Barit's POV*
"Here kitty, kitty," I cooed, tutting slightly as I looked under the bed.
Teddy just stared right back at me, crouched low. He gave me a soft, irritated hiss.
"Oh come on, buddy. I know I'm new but I can't be that bad," I muttered with a frown.
He slowly creeped out towards me, circling around my legs. “Hey, Ted,” I whispered, picking him up gently. He squirmed, climbing onto my shoulders. “Well sure you can sit there,” I laughed, walking into the recording room. “So how’s the wiring going?” I asked Jason, tapping him on the shoulder.
He let out a heavy sigh, his hair all tousled up from him countlessly running a hand through his hair. And let me just say that... he looked even hotter like-- Wait what are you saying, Bar?!? It hasn’t even been a week!
“Barit!” Jason yelled, snapping me out of my thought. “You okay? You were staring off for a while.”
“Sorry. Just thinking,” I laughed, a blush erupting on my cheeks.
“Well anyways, you’re mac is ready. I gotta go livestream so make yourself at home,” he shrugged, laughing softly.
I nodded, my shoulders deflating slightly. “Okay. I’m gonna grab something to eat. Can I use your car?” I asked, silently pleading.
He laughed again and nodded, tossing me his keys from his back pocket. “Grab me something if you can,” he added before fiddling with his video settings, pulling up his program for the webcam.
Facecam... Interesting, I thought to myself,starting to walk out but I heard him start to record and... it was just WAY too tempting.
“Hello Stars and welcome to a stream! I haven’t done any of these in a while so I thought ‘What the hell.’ And since I haven’t posted anything other than mod reviews on my channel recently, I decided that now would be a good time,” he said, his voice upbeat.
I smiled to myself, slowly creeping the door open. To my relief, it was behind him and he was focusing on his screen, checking to make sure his sound was working fine.
“Helloooo Stars!” I yelled, making Jason scream. I laughed, hugging him from behind.
‘oh!!!!1! who’s the chick jason? ;)’
‘jason you finally got a girl? jelly :(‘
‘Did someone find their way into Jason’s universe?’
I laughed at all the comments rolling in. When I looked at Jason’s face, I laughed even harder. His expression was priceless.
“Guys, she’s just a friend,” he said carefully, a bright crimson blush on his face.
I pushed away the slight pang that came with what he said and smiled. “I’m just staying with him for a while. Roommates. I was just leaving for lunch. I’ll be back Jason!” I added before walking out the door. “BYE STARS!” I yelled as I closed the front door behind me.
Climbing into the car, my thoughts drifted to something like, Hm... I’m in the mood for healthy... SAFEWAY!
*Jason’s POV*
After Barit bursting in, pretty much everyone wanted a q and a so they could ask me questions. I eventually had to say yes.
“Alright guys. First question.” I let out a sigh. Pretty much every question was about Bar and the only ones that weren’t were pushed away too quickly. Where were my mods when I needed them? “Who was the girl who came in? Well, thecrafter341, her name is Barit and she’s my new housemate.”
That’s when the questions were all directed towards ‘us.’
“Are you and Barit dating? The answer is no, and at the moment, I’m not really planning to.” But in the back of my mind, I wasn’t sure that was quite true.
The questions carried on like that for a while until....
“JASON I’M BACK!” Bar called, running in. “I got Subway,” she added as she handed me a sandwich.
“Uh... thanks?” I laughed, forgetting I had facecam.
“And to the Stars, hello again!” she said, waving to the camera.
I laughed and turned back to her. “Mind taking over seeing as you don’t have something to eat in your hands?” I asked, watching her eyes light up.
“Oh yus! Imma do this,” she exclaimed, practically yanking me out of my chair and pushing me out of my chair. She put my headphones on and started answering some more questions. And I have to say. She’s a natural on camera. After a while, I took over again, done with my food.
‘bring hre bak. u shuold play wiht her!’
“Oh some people’s grammar,” she laughed, pointing at the screen. “But I shall follow your demands, Stars, and play!” She ran off to her room, screaming like a maniac. I laughed, watching her go. I added her on Skype and we started playing Survival Games.
“Let’s do dis!” she exclaimed once she was on.
“Alright guys. I’m putting the IP in chat if you want to join us,” I added, quickly typing in. After a few minutes, the server was pretty much full.
“Away to Survival Games,” Bar said, quickly sprinting off.

“God damn it! That’s the seventh freaking time!” she yelled, making me laugh. “Why?!? Every time they target me now!”
“Or maybe you just keep running at people with nothing but a fish,” I laughed, leaning back in my chair. I looked at the time at the corner of my monitor. “We’ve been doing this for like 4 hours. I think it’s time to end it.”
I heard her yawn on the other side. “Finnnne,” she groaned.
‘nuuuuuuu! jason don’t go!’
‘bai :3’
‘do this again sometime you two!’
Ah the Stars. Always so enthusiastic. “Alright. That’s that that guys. See you soon, Stars.” I then ended the stream, stretching. Suddenly there were two arms around me again. “Well hello to you, too,” I chuckled, turning to look at her. And when I did, I was surprised by what happened. When I turned, my lips met hers.
