Bottoms in Gay Ships

Okay, but like

Why do some people get so damn pressed when you say you think someone bottoms in a gay ship? Huh? Huh!

Like, in this situation, you can have your opinion, you can think what you want. I'm not gonna fucking ostracize you from my life because you think that Ashton tops and Luke bottoms in Lashton. Or that Michael is a power bottom and Calum is a power top.

Or god forbid someone thinks this:

That Louis bottoms and Harry tops.

*overly dramatic person says* WHAT!! PEOPLE THINK THIS?!  HOW COULD THEY?!

Yes, people do. And honestly, who cares? It's someone's personal thought or preference when it comes to read a sexual scene. That's it. Why make such a big deal out of such a small thing? It seems exhausting.

Personally, when I read Larry, which I don't often actually, if there is smut I would want Harry to bottom, because to me, he is more submissive. Does that mean Louis can't bottom? No, it doesn't. It's just a sex position, and I can't speak for Louis or Harry on their sex positions. Because guess what?

I know squat about their relationship. Hell, the most I can actually say is that I know their ship name. No one knows the details of their personal lives, sexual lives, family lives etc. So I don't give a damn/loose my marbles when someone says "Louis is a bottom." because, that's someone's personal prefence. I'm not gonna say to someone "you think Louis bottoms? Ok, we can't talk."

I know someone like this. She'll literally block accounts that have bottom Louis for Larry, and I'm just like "is that really necessary?"  She can think Harry bottoms, but to me she takes it a bit too far, because it's literally just a sexual position. Who cares what other people think? No ones forcing you to ship anything, no ones forcing you to think anything, but what's the big deal if someone doesn't agree with your opinion? They don't have to agree, so why make such a big fuss?

I used to refuse to read top Ashton books. I also hated to read bottom Calum books. Like, I would stop reading the book if Ashton topped. But I read a book where Ashton was dominant and Luke was feminine and Ashton topped and it was great. It was the same for the Cashton one where Calum bottomed.

I realized then that it didn't fucking matter because technically either of them can bottom. They both have anuses, they both have dicks. Biologically speaking, anyone can 'bottom', so I stopped caring about who tops or who bottoms, even though I still have my preferences.

Basically what I'm trying to say is, ship why you want, think someone tops or someone bottoms if it's a gay ship. And don't get butthurt because someone doesn't agree with you on who tops or who bottoms. They don't have to, and it's legit over who lies down in sex and who 'takes it all in'. It's seriously not worth getting all worked up over
