Pleasure and Patience

What is there to life other than pleasure and patience ?

You wait for the right moment,

the perfect time.

You do a thing that feels wonderful,

something that you've anticipated for years.

You eat that meal that you spent hours preparing,

it is well enjoyed.

You go to school for years, learning much, but feeling like you know nothing,

and then one day it hits you, how much you really have learned,

and you love it.

You get a job you don't like,

but you do it well anyways,

and you're happy with the fact that you're doing your best,

and you're elated when you get promoted.

You spend your life doing things that will make you happy, which is the pleasure part,

and you spend your life trying to get to things that will make you happy, which takes patience, even if you are not very good at waiting at all.

so really, the answer is nothing. 

There is nothing to life other than pleasure and patience.
