Chapter 23 - Mistletoe

Gracey's POV
As Belle left, I hid behind a wall and listened to Harry and Cho.
I felt jealous in my stomach.

Harry's POV
I went to Cho. I still have feelings for her, but I don't know my feelings for Gracey.

"Are you all right? I heard Umbridge gave you a rough time the other day." I said.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Anyway, it's worth it." she said, while looking at me.

"It's just, learning all this...makes me wonder whether, how I even did it." she said.

"You're getting better each day. It's just, Voldemort was better." I said.

"You're a really good teacher, Harry. I've never been able to stun anything before." said Cho.

"Well, glad you enjoyed the class. But I couldn't do this without my friends around." I said.

She looked up and I saw a mistletoe. "Mistletoe." she whispered.

"Probably full of Nargles, then." I said.
"What are Nargles?" she asked.

"No Idea."

Cho and I started to lean closer to each other and kissed.

Then suddenly, I heard the door closed. I don't know who it was, because all I see is a blonde hair.

Gracey's POV
I saw everything. Everything that I wasn't suppose to see.
I stormed out of the Room Of Requirement, crying my eyes out.

As I walked into the Common Room, Hermione saw me.

"Gracey, what happened?" she asked.
I couldn't answer, I just ran up to Hermione and hugged her.

"What's wrong?" she asked again. Ron was pretty worried about it too.
Then the portrait opened revealed Belle.

"What's wrong?" she asked.
I pulled away from Hermione and hugged her.

"Whoa, Gracey, what's wrong?" Belle asked.
I just shook my head.

"What happened?" Belle asked Hermione.
"We don't know. We were waiting for Harry and all of a sudden, she came in here crying." Ron replied.

I sniffed and wiped my tears.

"I saw...Harry kissing Cho, under the mistletoe." I said.
Hermione's eyes widen at that.

"You like Harry?" Ron asked.
I nodded.

"This is going to be a big problem." said Hermione.

"Hermione, I think should Gracey take a break. She needs to let all of this out." said Belle.
She nodded.

"Come on, let's go to bed, Gracey." said Belle. I slightly nodded and left.

"We'll be waiting for Harry." I heard Hermione said.

"Don't mention this to Harry." I heard Belle said to Hermione.
I didn't hear anything else after that.

I changed into my pajamas and sat down on my bed. Just thinking about the image, makes me want to cry even more.

"Gracey." Belle came in and sat down on her bed, which is beside me.

"I saw everything, Belle." I said.

She sighed.
"I know how you feel, Gracey. The same pain when you see your crush kissing on someone else."

I nodded.

"Let it out, Gracey. It's good to cry sometimes." she said.
I cried and cover my face with my hands.

Belle sat beside me and held onto me.
"Shhh....let it out. Just let it all out." she said.

After for a good 20 minute cry, I pulled back.
"Thanks, Belle." I said.

She smiled and nodded.
"There's something I want to tell you." she said.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm dating Cedric." she replied.

"What? You're dating him?" I asked.

She nodded. "I've decided to give him a chance, Gracey. I just hope I'm doing the right thing."
I sighed and held her hand for comfort.

"Belle, I know you want to forget about him, but the memories stays." I said.
"I know, but I just need to get him out." she said.

"You can date him, but just don't let him break your heart again like before." I said.
She nodded.

"But I'm glad you're moving on." I added.
"Me too."

It was getting late and we went to bed.
