Guardian Angels

So this is just something I came up with, actually, from going on camp. One of my friends took a really interesting photo (the bottom half of the cover that I will post on the next chapter as soon as I get the photos to make it) of the path stretching out in front of us and I thought, Hey, that would look really cool as a book cover, and then I got the Angel idea from watching too much (NEVER TOO MUCH) Supernatural. Yes, this is inspired by the episode where the boys go to heaven but there are differences, I swear! Anyways, on with the idea.

Title: Highway to Heaven, The Lonely Road or The Long Road Home. I think. I had a really good title but now I've forgotten.
Characters: One girl, one angel and one helpful Soul. Name suggestions welcome! (I might actually write a bit of this one, unless someone else wants to!) I'm thinking Grace, maybe?
Plot: I think the rough storyline is that when you're born, the name of your Guardian Angel is tattooed on your wrist. When people die, and their souls go Heaven if they deserve it, they are greeted by their Guardian Angels. So when a teenage girl that doesn't have a name tattoo dies in a car crash, she gets sent to Heaven, but her Angel isn't waiting for her. None of the other angels will tell her anything, and none of the other souls in heaven know what's going on. Until she meets a Soul who, when they were alive, met the first Angel to ever come to Earth. The angel's name was Barachiel, and he was the Archangel in charge of Lightning, Blessings and Guardian Angels. The Soul thinks that since Barachiel is in charge of all Guardians, then he must know where the girl's Angel is. So she (and the soul if you want) set off to find him. They somehow find out that he is going to be in the Garden of Eden, which I am going to go out on a limb here and say is in the middle of heaven. So the girl and the soul travel to Eden, following the concept of Axis Mundi; the idea of a road of sorts connecting heaven and earth, where all four compass directions meet. So they go to the garden and they find Barachiel and the girl's Guardian Angel. You'll never guess who it is...

Don't want to spoil the ending! I have an idea for a sequel, but I'll post that as a different chapter with the covers.
