Angie's POV:
Herman came to my room nearly in the middle of the night and asked me to go with him to somewhere.
Since I was way too curious I agreed to go with him, but after a while he even covered my eyes while walking...
- Trust me.
That's all he said and I trusted him as usual of course and went with it, although I was pretty confused about this and the fact that he even covered my eyes on the way.
- Here we are... - I suddenly hear him speaking and a second later I finally saw where we actually are.
I have no idea, but the whole room was filled with beautiful dresses, jewels and whatever a girl like me could ever imagine and even more.
- Herman... What are we...
He didn't say a word.
Instead he ordered an aga into the room, who already had a box in his hand.
- Come here... - he smiled at me.
I walked closer so I could see that in the box there was a beautiful necklace...
He took it out...
- This is a necklace that belongs to our dynasty... And from today this is yours... - he said and my heart almost jumped out of my chest in shock.
- Herman...
He smiled at me while he stepped behind me and gently put the necklace around my neck.
I could barely hold back my happiness and joy and once when he was done I jumped into his neck and kissed him happily.
- I love you! - I mumbled.
- I love you too - he replied with a soft smile on his face.
----- TIME SKIP -----
I spent the evening with Herman in his room, but unfortunately when I woke up in the morning he wasn't beside me.
He probably had to go to a meeting.
Anyway as I woke up I got myself together in front of the mirror when I suddenly noticed something dripping from the painting that was in the other side of the room.
I remember Herman telling me about the painting and the fact that that was the reason he took me here which is a little weird.
And as I went closer and took the blanket thing off of it I saw the picture...
It was completely ruined with my face ruined mostly...
- What the hell...?! - I gasped.
I was shocked to see that and for a moment I had no idea what to do, but soon I decided to call Herman as soon as possible...
