Herman's POV:
I went outside to take a walk and just take my mind off of everything.
Everything was silent and peaceful.
Exactly what I needed right now.
But one thing was missing...
One person...
- Angie... - I sighed deeply.
Just as I sighed I looked up and I noticed her standing at the balcony, all sad and stuff which made me feel sad as well.
For some seconds I was just looking up at her.
Suddenly she looked down at me as well then bowed her head slightly.
I just smiled back at her then...
- Come down! - I shouted up to her.
I didn't care who hears it.
I just wanted her to hear it and come down to me now.
- Eh?!
- Don't question it! Just come!
She nodded, looking confused as she headed off and within a few minutes she was right by my side, with her head down low.
- Hey... Why is your head so low? - I asked as I gently lifted her chin up so I could look into her beautiful green eyes.
- I just don't want to be disrespectful...
- What are you talking about?
- You didn't seem to be happy when I'm around you, or near you... So I guessed... I should act more respectful...
I sighed then I placed both my hands on her cheeks.
- I don't know where did you get this idea from... Or who told this... But...
I actually don't have a proper explanation to why I was avoiding her.
All I could say could be because of Safiye Sultan... But I don't want to involve her into this issue with her, me and my mother...
She'll eventually be involved at some point anyway...
But just not now...
I want her to be happy for me...
I don't want her to be frustrated all the time like my mother...
- I apologise... - I said.
- Huh...?
- I'm deeply sorry... For not appreciating you enough... In the past few weeks... I'm just having some stressful time... But I've never meant to be mean... Mostly not to the woman I love the most... - I smiled at her.
- Herman...
- I love you... Don't forget that.... - I said - Even if I don't call you... Even if I don't speak to you... You're always going to be the most important person in my life... Because with your love and support... I can get through everything...
- I love you too...
That's all she could say.
Not because she was embarrassed, but because I kissed her.
