My stomach clenched and I swear my mouth had never felt a smile as big as the one on my face right now. I leaped into Jays arms almost knocking him over and hugged him tighter than I ever had before.

"Yes! Yes, of course Jay." I said as I kissed him passionately. "Oh my god, I love you so much." I said between kisses and he smiled in the kiss.

"You'll marry me?" He asked pulling away and I nodded excitedly.

"Of course!" I said hugging him again.

"Oh Kayce. This is great!" He said and stood
up. "I know marriage is a bit obsolete in the modern society but to me it is the best way to prove your love to someone. And Kayc', I will never stop loving you." He said kissing me again.

"Oh but one thing." I said while stopping our kiss.

"Anything for you." He said kissing me again.

"We need to redo this bedroom. It's old and your father slept in this bed. How are we supposed to live in here like this?"

Jay laughed and kissed my cheeks and forehead making me giggle. "Oh you are hilarious. It's a castle of death and you want to liven it up. You are amazing. And of course. You can decorate however you'd like. A new bed, new decor, anything for you." He said and I kissed him again smiling. "Maybe after the funeral we can get all this old stuff out and all new stuff in. And I promise I will find you the perfect ring and at the ceremony I will give it to you."

"Okay! I can't wait."

"Only you could make me this happy on the day my father died" He said and I chuckled.

"I'm glad I make you happy. Also I'm curious, those files on the desk, what are they?"

"Old files of the deceased." I knew it. "My work for the past few days have been to get all of them sorted and placed on my tablet where all the files go now." Jay laid down and looked distressed as he stared at the tall ceiling.

"Your mood has been changing very rapidly." I joked. "Are you alright? What's on your mind?" I asked laying next to him. He put his arm around me and held me close.

"I'm just thinking about everything. I screwed up." He said.

"Jay his death was not your fault!" I said as I traced my fingers along his chest.

"Earlier today, I don't know why I didn't flash my father to safety. I just, didn't. Part of me knew what would happen if he died but the other part of me hated him so much and knew about all the horrible things he did to the kind staff and I wanted him gone." I stroked his face as he continued. "I mean don't get me wrong, being king is the last thing I wanted. But now, I see how much everyone needed change. They love me and I know how much they do down here. I just want to help. So maybe I let him die." He said and I hugged him.

"Jay, you are such a good person. You gave up your life for all these people. That is amazing and I'm so proud of you." I said smiling.

"Knowing that makes me happy. Come, let's go to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow."

"You going to be okay at the funeral?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yes. I feel as though tomorrow will be a happy occasion." He said as I got up and walked to my bag and grabbed a tee shirt and sweat pants to change into out of my dress. As I took off my tights I noticed the rip again, but my thigh was fine. Jay rubbed over my thigh and smiled. "I am so thrilled that you have this power. It is such a relief." He smiled. I started to pull the sweat pants on but he stopped me. "Leave them off?" He asked sweetly and I obeyed. He took off his shirt and pants and climbed under the covers. I cuddled up to his chest and inhaled his sweet scent.
