Chapter 23

Nikki's POV

I woke up and Darius was in my room standing at Princess's crib. "How the hell do you keep getting in here?" I asked. "Don't worry about all of that, just know I do." He said as he held Princess.

After brushing my teeth and washing my face I made some coffee. After making coffee and sipping on it. Darius sat at on the couch in the living room, holding a sleeping Princess.

"You're going to wake her up, trying to hold her while she's sleep." I said staring at him. "I'll put her back to sleep then," he said smiling.

I grabbed my laptop searching for the quote of the day. As I was looking through all of the quotes. I chose the one that fits my situation, including Princess and Darius.

Remember one thing,

I posted the quote on the bay window in the living room, and I can feel Darius's eyes on me. As if on cue, Tiffany walked into the kitchen and poured herself some coffee.

"Good morning Tiffany," I said smiling. "What's so good about this morning?" Tiffany said sounding grouchy.

"Whoa, who sprinkled salt in your cereal this morning?" I asked sitting on the counter. "Sorry, I just....I just woke up mad for no reason." She said pouting. "Oh one of those days again, because I could have sworn you were all happy and giddy yesterday morning, I guess that didn't last." I said smiling.

"Yea, and I could've sworn he went home last night." She said pointing at Darius. "Oh he did, but somehow he was here when I woke up rocking Princess. He won't tell me how he KEEPS getting in here though." I said putting inferences on the keep to get his attention.

"Good morning my babiessss!" Ne'yah said walking in and pouring some coffee as she smiled extra big. "Why does every keep saying that! It's not such a good freaking morning!" Tiffany snapped.

Ne'yah looked at me with a questionable look. "It's one of those I woke up mad, so I'm going to take it out on everybody including my roommates days." I said making them both laugh.

"Why was you explanation ever that long?!!" Tiffany shouted as she laughed. "SHHHH!!" Darius said from the living room making everyone be quiet.

"When did he get here?" Ne'yah asked. "I don't know, he was here when we woke up." I said smiling. Then as if on cue like everyone else, the guys walked through the door saying good morning.
